Fireworks. Flowers blooming at the midnight sky. It's nothing special, just a normal thing na madalas ay nakikita tuwing Bagong Taon.
Ngunit pakiramdam ko ay nagbago ang kahulugan ng mga ito. I thought that fireworks are like our lives. No matter how far you reached, you'll still crumble into dust once you die.
But something happened that made my interpretation, or rather, how fireworks impact my life.
A silhouette beside me, wearing a yukata. It was unusual for someone to wear it at the Philippines. Natatamaan ng liwanag ng fireworks ang aming mga mukha. Their face was full of nostalgia and loneliness as they stared at them.
Then a thought crossed my mind...though I don't know how to convey it.
Then, little by little, a simple dream appeared on my mind.
