Exploring Buildings - Part 1

'I wonder if I have the right address..' Ranboo thought to himself. He looked at his phone, which had an email pulled up.
"They weren't kidding when they said it was in the middle of nowhere." He mumbled, looking back up at the house. It was a pretty huge house, maybe 5,000 feet. There were huge pine trees all around it, the moonlight causing shadows that most people would see as another person, or animals.

He sighed, then realized the door was ajar, with a person staring at him. He blinked a few times.

"Hello?"

"Who're you?" The person standing in the doorway asked, his head slightly tilted to the side.

"I'm Ranboo. I got invited to an agency which explores abandoned buildings?"

The man's face lit up slightly. "Oh, so you're the one we've been waiting for. Come on in. I'm Daydream by the way, although everyone calls me Dream." Ranboo smiled under his mask.

"You guys haven't been waiting long, I'm only like five minutes late."
"Five minutes is enough for some of us to wonder if you weren't even coming and it was just a prank."

Ranboo blinked a few times. "That's happened?"
"Yep."

As Ranboo started to walk up to the door, which was maybe ten feet away, they both heard a yell from inside the house.

"HEY, WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY ABOUT ME YOU LITTLE-"

"Tommy stop!"

Ranboo blinked a few more times. "Is this.. normal?"

The other man sighed. "Sadly, yes."

They stepped inside the house and made their way to the living room, where there was currently a small fight happening. A kid who looked about seventeen was being held back by another kid in a green shirt. A guy who looked to be in his late teens was standing there, arms crossed, with a shirt from an anime Ranboo had heard of but never seen - Hunter x Hunter.

"Stop it." Another man, who looked to be in his late twenties, snapped, looking around the corner. "Do you guys want food or not?"

They all sat down quickly. The man sighed, then noticed Dream and Ranboo. "Hello. You're Ranboo, right mate?"

Ranboo nodded, and the one who looked seventeen glared at him. "Ranbo? What kind of shit name is that?"

"Tommy, shut up." Another voice, from one of the bedrooms, sighed.

"Don't tell me what to do Techno!" Tommy snapped back.

Dream shook his head. "Might as well introduce you all. This is Ranboo." He gestured to the man wearing the half black, half white mask next to him. "This is Tommy, as you heard." In response, Tommy stuck out his tongue and looked away. "That's Tubbo." Tubbo smiled and waved at him. Ranboo gave a small wave back. "That's Sapnap, Punz, and the one in the kitchen is Philza, or Phil." Punz looked up from his phone when he heard his name, nodded once, then looked back down at whatever show he was watching. Sapnap gave a small, two-fingered wave.

"There are plenty more people, just they're off doing who knows what right now."

"Wilbur, Schlatt, and Quackity went to the bar, Niki, Puffy, Alyssa, and Hannah are having a girls night apparently, nobody was told where Fundy was going, Foolish, Eret, and Skeppy are checking out a building, Karl, Bad, Ant, and Sam are off on a case, George is sleeping, Callahan is who knows where, Ponk is studying, Purpled is playing his game somewhere, H, Vikk, Lazar, and Charlie are out on another case." The man apparently named Techno said loudly. "Unlike you Dream, I keep track of where people are."

"Hey, it's not my fault-"

"Why don't you take off your mask?" Tubbo interrupted. "It's cool but like, why?"

Ranboo shrugged. "It's comfortable. Not like I can't take it off." He reached up and pulled the mask down. "No other reason."

"Who's this?" A deep voice asked from behind the group. They all turned around, seeing a group of three, who seemed slightly out of breath. One had a bi patch on his sleeve, another had a blue tattoo of what seemed to be a diamond on his neck, and the third was just wearing all black.

Phil came out and looked confused. "Back so early?"

Another one of them sighed. "Police saw us. We didn't realize they were there. Chased us out and into the woods. Got back to the van as quickly as possible, then booked it here. We stopped multiple times and took the long way. The police didn't follow us."

"You didn't get caught, that's a plus." A boy in a purple hoodie said, walking into the room. "If you had we'd all have to run. Don't sweat it."

"Yeah.." The one wearing all black mumbled. "Sure."

"So uh.. who're you three?" Ranboo wondered aloud, head tilted slightly to the side.

"I'm Foolish." The one in black smiled. "That's Eret." He pointed to the one with the bi patch. "And that's Skeppy." The one with the diamond tattoo waved.

"Cool. I'm Ranboo."

It had been about two hours since Ranboo had first entered the house, and he had already met most of the people. The girls had come back, and the one named Niki had pretty much claimed him as her brother, which he was fine with.

Wilbur, Schlatt, and Quackity came back; all drunk as hell, and all passed out relatively quickly. The other two groups had showed up as well, leaving two people unaccounted for.

"So. Let me get this straight. You wear a mask for FUN?" Tommy asked, as if it were the most ridiculous thing he'd ever heard.

"Yes Tommy, for the fifteenth time. It's comfortable." Ranboo sighed. "Is it that hard to believe?"

"I mean, I wear a mask most of the time too." Alyssa offered. "So does Ponk. Dream does too sometimes. It's not new for one of us to wear a mask, I mean, this whole thing was Dream's idea."

Tommy scoffed. "As if I'll ever admit it was that bitch's idea."

"Doesn't change the fact though." Ranboo shrugged. "It's just what happened."

Tommy opened his mouth as if he were to say something, before the door opened again, and a girl who looked to be fourteen came into the room.

"Uh.. hello." Tubbo smiled, even if he was confused.

"Hey." 

"Drista, what do you want." Dream sighed, without looking up from the computer he was on.

"Rude. Also, you promised me I'd get to see the new guy AND come with you to a building." She tossed a crumpled up piece of paper at his head, which ended up hitting him. 

"Ow." He mumbled. "Where'd you even get paper." 

"Home. Duh. Just because you live here doesn't mean you technically don't have another home too." 

Sapnap waved at the girl. "Hey Drista, how you been?" Drista smiled. 

"Great." 

"You don't seem bad." Ranboo grinned. 

"You're the new guy, yeah?" Drista's head tilted slightly to the side, and her expression being a slightly more questioning look. Ranboo just nodded. 

Phil came out of a room which was labeled as his. "Look alive mates, we got a new request for checking a building. It's urgent too, we've got three days till it gets torn down."
