Beep Beep “We’re through the wormhole.” Nog said, “There’s the reaminants of
their ion trail.” We followed the trail for several hours before- WARNING! WARNING!
UNKNOWN OBJECT APPROACHING! WARNING! WARNING! “What was that?!” I
groaned. “It appears that we have come across an unrecorded asteroid storm.” Molly
says her face paling. BAM! BAM! Then it all goes black.
When I wake up everyone but Yoshi was still unconscious. “Looks like we lost our
warp drive. If we want to catch up with them we need to get it fixed right away.” He
explained. “OW, my head.” I run over and help Nog to his feet. “I’m going to go look
around.” “Yoshi, I’m not letting you go alone and I’m not leaving them either.” I
countered. “Nog can come with me and you can take care of everyone else.” Yoshi
offered. “Ok.” I reluctantly agree.
Several hours of boredom later Yoshi and Nog returned. “We found another
crashed ship that looks like it's from the Dominion War era.” Yoshi said. “We were ableto take their warp drive.” Nog added. “Alright how long?” I asked. “3 hours.” “Ok, do you
need anything else?” I questioned. “No, thank you.” Nog answered.
Three hours later we were back in space and started searching for the ion trail
again. It took us about two more hours to find the trail and we were on our way.
“The ship landed on Rogue Planet.” Jenni said. “Wasn’t the Rogue Planet the
home base of the Founders before the Obsidian Order figured it out?” I asked. “Yes.”
Jake answered. “We’re being hailed.” Molly said. “Good morning children.” a voice
answered. “We’ve been waiting for you.” A video feed appeared on the screen across
from Nog showed what looked like a laboratory. My mom was strapped to a biobed with
wires coming out of her head and other parts of her body. A loud chorus of “What are
you doing to her?!” and “Let her go!” erupted from us. “Calm down you will get a chance
to help her.”
We are suddenly beamed into the laboratory next to my mom. “Mom!” I yell as we
run up to her, pulling at her restraints and the wires. “Now, now children,” The voice said
through an unseen speaker, “don’t do anything drastic. After all you don’t know what
removing those wires would do to her. Poor lonely Kira Nerys. She did this to herself
you know.” “What are you talking about?” I practically growled. “Why, you don’t know?”
The voice said in mock surprise, “Well let me enlighten you, Little Girl.” “Don’t call me
that.” “You see her mental state was quite bad when we found her. We decided to shockher brain. But as she is Bajoran it only seemed to get worse. She is now in a fever
dream that only she can get herself out.” “You said we could help her!” Jake yelled.
“Patience, young man all in good time. You can indeed help her. One of you will be able
to enter the dream to assist in freeing her. You may choose among yourselves, but
remember, only one may go and once you make your choice you can not change your
minds. Choose wisely. Good luck.” With that the line went silent.
