Beep Beep *sound of the alarm clock*
"Damm a bitch could never get some sleep around here" I said out loud putting on my house slippers on just to go in the bathroom.
10:55am
Shortly after I finished doing my morning routine I mentally prepared myself before heading downstairs and facing everyone.
" Do what's best for you Sanai, stop trying to fit into their world. Stop feeling A shame and embarrass that you didn't grow up in this lifestyle be grateful for the life that you got" I spoke quietly into the mirror wiping away my tears before opening the door and walking down the stairs.
I can literally hear everyone laughing and joking around about something. The insecurity in me will thinks the topic is about me but it's not. So I just quickly walked around from the crowd and on to the kitchen to serve myself.
Megan POV Harlem, NY 11:04am
Sanai walked past everyone quietly heading into the kitchen without saying good morning. I know she's probably mad yesterday so ima give her space for now.
" you can see me right ?" Ari asked Ella
"Yeah bitch I see you, can you see me ?" Ella questioned grabbing everyone attention
" okay so cool I just wanna make sure I'm not a ghost cause she walked past like she don't acknowledge our presence" Ari said making the rest of her siblings laugh
" she's probably still upset that I slapped her. Ion know why tho it was a little love tap" Giovanni said shrugging his shoulders speaking nonchalant.
I just turned my eyes towards Dave to see if he had anything to say. He just looked at the children shaking his head ,before getting up from his chair and heading straight towards the kitchen.
Sanai Pov 11:08pm
"Morning sunshine" I heard from the door. I quickly turned over peeping Dave
"Morning Dave" I said quietly before cracking some eggs onto the bowl for me to cook.
"Why your cooking Sanai? It's already food cooked for you to eat" Dave said
"No Dave it's food for you guys to eat not for me to eat matter fact, ima go out to eat" I said dumping out the eggs onto the trash
"If you don't mind Dave I'll like to leave, when I mean leave I wanna get away from here, from everyone in here. I don't feel comfortable here mentally and physically. I don't like feeling like this. And I can't leave here because I have no where else to go. If I leave I'll have to start selling myself in the streets and working multiple jobs just to support myself. But I'll have to do it just keep my sanity" I said trying to leave the kitchen
