SANAI P.O.V Harlem,NY 1:56pm

I swear these people gets on my nerves. Every time I talk they keep hitting me like damm a bitch can't speak without being abuse I bet if I take my hearing aid off and be deaf the whole day and not speak it'll help.

{Banging coming from the door}

"Who the hell knocking on the door like they police" Tyrone said before walking to the door.

Few seconds later both Tyrone and Rose came to the living room

"Hey bitch" Rose said before giving me a hug

"Hey Hoe , how was school" I asked her before feeling something hit my head. Causing my hearing aid to come off.

"Oh Shit this bitch deaf" Kiari said to Chanel laughing

"That shit not funny bitch and miss why you hit her like that?" Rose turn around to ask my Grandmother Taraji

" She kept cursing after we gave her warning and I don't know she was deaf. Oh my god I regret hitting her" Taraji said trying to help me put it back in my ear

"She hides it underneath her hair, it's one of things she don't like to tell people" Rose Said while taking a seat.

"You don't mind me asking, um was you born deaf or something tragic happen?" Chanel Friend ask while seasoning the meat.

My grandmothers had gave everyone a special task to do in the kitchen while my job was to shut up since I kept cursing

"Umm something tragic happened but hey man it's life. But you was born light skin or you bleached your skin?" I asked her since she looked two different color. She was in my business so ima be in hers as well

" Sanai Just go back to shutting up. I can tell your mouth gonna get us in trouble when we go out" My Egg Donor Megan Said giving me a look

"You don't have to answer that question love, if you don't want to" my Aunt London told her making the girl feel comfortable.

" No it's fine i was in her business she have every right to ask. For the answer to your question yes I bleached my skin. I felt to dark and everyone around me is light skin so i decided to become one as well" she said looking at me

" umm okay that's cool. Damm I wonder how I look if I was light skinned, Lmfaooo Rose, Kiesha would've made do more drugs and sleep with more men. Since I was dark skin she made bank but if I was light skin girl I'll probably make this girl over 10 thousand a month" I said laughing with Rose.

See I know my laugh is fuck up. But if I laugh about it and not care about what I went through. Then if anyone was to make jokes about it or try to use it against me I won't really care because it won't offend me.

"Dead ass Bruh she stay trying to use me. But if it wasn't for you I'll probably be dead somewhere. You always use to sacrifice yourself for all the girls in the house" she said causing me to laugh but deep inside I wanted to cry because it was truth I always put others before me.

"Word" i said before turning around about to asked my Grandmother's what they want Rose and I to do. But once I saw everyone had they eyes on us I decided to take Rose and I to the room I was staying in.

"Chanel and Kiari didn't check you in front of Sanai because I know your not used to her yet, but don't you ever make fun of someone disabilities or anyone in general" Chanel mother Lola said before hitting her arm with a wooden stick.

" ima go check on what the boys are doing outside" I really wanted a excuse to leave the area since the tension in the room was too high.
