>But to her horror, the girl turned down an alleyway that led into a dead-end.

>The girl could hear her father's footsteps getting closer.
>She knew that wouldn't make it if she tried to run out of the alleyway.
>Thoughs of what will happen to her when her father catching her started to make her body shake in fear.
>Tears ran down her cheeks as she looked down at her storybook she was holding.

I wish I could get away from him, this town, everything.

>Suddenly, the little girl saw a glimmer of light in the corner of her eye.

Huh?
>A purple/pinkish light surrounded the girl's feet.
little girl;
This is..?
>The girl's drunken father then came around the corner, into the alleyway.
drunk father;

>But the girl didn't pay attention to her father, and continued to watch the light that was dancing under her feet.
>The father didn't notice the light under his daughter's feet.
>Not until the entire alleyway was suddenly surrounded in the purple/pinkish light.

>The girl couldn't see her father anymore, but another figure appeared in the wall of light.
