Coming from Busan as a new law firm administrator, Lee Seeun was assigned to work with the Wusang Law Firm, an expensive and luxurious company with the best lawyers. Though she didn't get access to the background of the company for some suspicious reason, she knew she'd be working beside Park Yoon, a short, brown-haired woman with a love for various aspects of the law. She was emailed a week ago by Yoon, getting an online interview shortly after. At the moment Seeun was in a Taxi, the sun setting before her eyes, watching the large, star slowly creep under the sky.
Seeun didn't know if she was ready for such a big job, and a big role in such a short time. Her parents were proud, and that was all that mattered. Once the Taxi stopped, she seemed to come back to reality, paying the driver before she stepped out, staring at the building in front of herself, the sound of the Taxi driving off had echoed beside her.
"Is your schedule at this time?" A security guard had asked at the front, catching her attention, breaking the silence in your mind. "No.." She spoke, "I'm here for Ms. Yoon.." "Ma'am, You don't have permission to-" "Oh! Seeun!" The lady yelled, struggling to run in her high heels, finally making it up to you after an awkward minute. Feeling her arms wrap around her, Seeun slowly hugged her back. "It's nice to meet you too! I'm just very confused, I saw your email, and my position is..?" "An administrator!.. My boss, Ms. Choi, saw your background, and interests, and I.. I mean she couldn't pass by with someone with such a great eye for law."
She felt herself smile, not used to so many compliments at once. "Thank you," Seeun replied, pulling away to bow, hearing her laugh. "Don't bow to me! See me as your sister!" "We just me-" "Now! Let me give you a tour around, Hmm?" Yoon wrapped her arm around her, walking into the building, pointing at other workers shuffling around the building, papers in their arms. "Do you want to see the gallery around the corner with me? Or would you want to see the special areas you can go to for free?"
"What do you mean special places?" "You're with me! Park Yoon! I don't think you know how much of a big deal I am... I work with the one and only Choi Myung-hee!" She chuckled, stopping Seeun from going any farther. "You'll have access to walk through the Gungnam Park for free, Restaurants around the corner, Your apartment.." She went on, fiddling with her purse, pulling out a card only to wave it around Seeun's face.
"And..! A subscription to Babel's gym!" Yoon squealed, beginning to calm down once Seeun didn't find any excitement from a simple gym subscription. "Why would I be excited about this again? It's Babel.. Yes, I've heard of the company, But I thought that was a credit card.." "You wish! I go there every time I have a break, And guess who goes there all the time?" Yoon asked, her smile widening.
Seeun let out a soft sigh, holding back a small eye roll, looking around before she replied, "Who?" "JANG HAN-SEO!" She yelled, throwing her arms around, feeling the tension rise when people looked over to Yoon. "Isn't that the CEO of Babel?" Seeun whispered, a bit embarassed, watching Yoon nod, forcing open your hand to place the card and your apartment keys in your hand. "You won't regret working here.. And you won't regret this subscription! You feel a little bloated and fatigued when you work every day on end." Yoon chuckled, her smile wider than ever. "You should head home, Seeun.. You have a big day tomorrow and maybe you should.. Check out at that gym in the morning!" Seeun rolled her eyes, feeling another smile come to her lips.
"Thank you, Really Ms. Yoon.." "Yoon! Just Yoon!" "Yeah... Yoon, Thank you, I'll see you tomorrow."
