TW: VIOLENCE AND BLOOD

Hanseo sighed, rubbing his forehead. He was definitely stressed, checking off a few emails and contracts for Babel as he waited for Seeun to return. "I'm just going out for some fresh air," That's what she said before she left, and he knew she'd come back. He hummed, looking up to the door once someone had knocked.

"Seeun? Come in, you don't have to knock." He said, looking back down to his papers, then back at the door. "Seeun?-'' His eyes widened, freezing in place as he held his papers close. Hanseo didn't seem to move or budge from his chair, his eyes following his brother as he stepped inside. Vincenzo was right, he should have gone somewhere else, he didn't know it'd be this early...

Junwoo took the hat off of his head, letting his brown locks of hair pass by his eyes. As he got closer, Hanseo finally stood up in fear, backing away from his older brother. "I came out quietly to surprise you, brother." Junwoo said, laying his hand on Hanseo's plaque, "What's the point of hiring bodyguards? When I offered money, they took it all and left."

His cold glare went up to Hanseo, striking through his body. "You incompetent traitor.." "I didn't betray you... I was trying to run the company properly.." Hanseo finally let out, refusing to look at Junwoo, and when he did, he saw him pull out his gun, making Hanseo flinch.

"I brought your gun.." Junwoo said, twisting it around as he came even closer, pointing it at Hanseo. "I couldn't get one at such short notice." "Okay... I see.." "Now I really can't keep you alive." Junwoo casually said, cocking his head to the side, seeing his brother look up to him. "I'm sure you understand that.."

Junwoo brought the gun up to Hanseo's head, pointing it to his forehead, watching him shake. "Yes... I was bound to suffer the same fate as Father... I will accept it.."

Holding on for her life, Seeun's knuckles had begun to turn purple, aching in pain from her single hand holding onto the railing above her. She didn't know how she kept herself up for so long, but she wasn't going to die from Junwoo, anybody but Junwoo. Once she was dropped, it was her instinct to hold onto the rails she had leaned on when she was up, and it was a blessing he didn't check to see if she had fallen.

She groaned in pain, letting out a small cry as she raised her other arm, bringing her body over the rails, back on the top of the building. Seeun panted as she laid down, her fingers stunned in pain, barely able to feel them. "Han... Hanseo.." She whispered, gasping as she stood up, running down the steps, a bad feeling seeping through her chest.

Junwoo cocked the tip of the gun down, ready to pull the trigger at any moment, teasing him at this point. Hanseo closed his eyes, a single tear falling down his cheek. "Wait!" Seeun cried as she busted the door open, a sense of pain waving through her veins, hating the sight of those two together in a room, and nothing looked like it would go well.

"Don't!" Seeun screamed, Junwoo's eyes wide, wondering how she had made it out alive. Not having anything to say, Junwoo bashed the gun against Hanseo's head, turning to pick up Hanseo's plaque, throwing it across the room, watching it hit her head, knocking both Seeun and Hanseo out at the same time.

...

Hanseo found himself lying on the floor, in a miscellaneous room, slowly raising his head from his arm. He didn't know where he was and had a terrible headache, blood gaping from his forehead, splattered down to his arm and the collar of his suit. "Hanseo!" Chayoung whispered, her hands tied behind her back. 'Hanseo.." She whispered again once he seemed to realize who she was, trying to turn around, wanting him to untie the zip ties from her wrists. "Are you okay?" She asked him, not being able to read his expression, knowing he was worried about her, and specifically, Seeun, who was across the other side of the room, still knocked out.

Hearing footsteps, he froze from trying to crawl to Chayoung, looking in the direction. Junwoo walked down the steps, sitting down on the couch beside Chayoung, a smile on his face. "I didn't think you'd abduct me, but you did." She sighed, looking away from him, hating how close he was. "This makes you such a cheap villain.."

"What's the difference? All villains are the same." "No matter how hard I think about it... You are not a human being." She muttered, watching him bend down to her, his fingers caressing her hair. "Do you know how much I loved you from the start? That makes me human, I still feel a way for you." "You're nothing but a disgusting human being... Jang Junwoo.." Seeun said from the side, her head on the ground, trying to take in the pain aching from her head. It caught Junwoo's attention, his eyes looking to her, and then Chayoung, who agreed.
