Jungkook giggles cutely as he looks around the nearby fairy village with me, his hand gripping mine while his hat covers his hair. He looks ecstatic, each and every little thing bringing his beautiful bunny smile to his face. Today is the winter solstice, meaning it is the beginning of all festivities.

"Children!" He squeals, watching as the kids play snowball tag, using the projectiles as a means of tagging rather than their hands.

"Yes, we have children." I laugh, swinging our hands together. "But what I think you'll really like is everything we have going on today." I pull him along to a food stall and buy us a drink.

The booth owner smiles sweetly, unable to tell who I am due to my disguise and her old eyesight. "Ah! Soulmates! I remember when I was young and would celebrate the winter solstice together with my soulmate. Oh, it's like it was just yesterday." She dispenses some of the blue, fizzy liquid before adding a white whip on top. She adds two swirly ice straws to the drink. "On the house."

"Thank you." I bow and accept the drink.

Jungkook's eyes widen. "What is this? It looks amazing."

"It's a drink we have every festival. It is supposed to bring good fortune to whoever drinks it." I hold it out for him and he takes a sip.

His eyes sparkle. "This is really good. It makes my insides feel really cold and I love it."

"I'm glad." I scoop some of the whip up with my finger and hold it to his lips.

"What is that? It looks like whipped cream."

"It's ice whip. It's really sweet and light."

He shyly wraps his lips around the digit and licks it before giggling.

"It's really delicious."

Smiling, I grab his hand again and let him hold the cup as I find the perfect seat to sit at with him.

Jungkook places the drink between us and looks at the stage curiously, happily watching the cultural dances happening onstage. Those who are unmated dance on the physical stage while those who are paired dance together in flight, showing how love lets you soar.

"I want wings," he whispers and we both go in for a drink at once, making us giggle.

"Me too." I take a sip and allow the brunet to rest his head on my shoulder as he watches the dance.

While the boy stays engrossed in all the festivities, I pick up some dumplings, ramen, and kimchi stew to bring back to the table.

"Food." Jungkook claps and I hand him a pair of ice chopsticks and a spoon before setting everything up so we can easily share.

It feels like a date and the very thought makes me blush. The sweet lady even thought we were soulmates. Although we aren't, it is nice to pretend.

We feed ourselves and each other in a content peace as we watch dances, plays, and storytell

A new set of performers goes up to sing and Jungkook holds his hand out for me once he sees everyone move to the dancefloor.

"May I have this dance?"

Chuckling, I nod, bringing him to the dancefloor. "Do you know how to slow dance?"

He blushes. "No. I've never had to, but I want to dance with you."

"Then I'll lead." I smile and position us so we hold hands while Jungkook's other rests properly on my shoulder and mine rests on his waist. "Don't be too shy. I think it's cute that you want to learn. It's just a simple step. I step and you follow. One, two, three, one, two, three, one two three. Perfect. You're doing well. It's okay to look at the ground."
