Chapter 2: An Emerald Discovery

Dipper's POV:

I was drinking Pitt soda in the shack, trying to remember what I did last night before I drooled myself to sleep, when someone startled me. I yelped in surprise when I saw Mabel doing one of her dances when she was little. She also made me spit the peach in the soda. (A/N: I think that's peach in the soda. If I'm wrong tell me.)

"Mabel, you do not need to do that."I said to her.

"Dipper! Don't you know it's Wendy's birthday today? We're preparing a party for her tonight and we need all the gifts to be ready, remember?"she smiled in glee. Oh my gosh, that's why I stayed up all night! I forgot about it when I slept! Darn it! I have to find the perfect gift for her.

"Uh... yeah. I know."I shrugged as I let out a nervous chuckle before I went to the door, armed with my Journal.

"See ya, Mabel!"I yelled as I went to the woods to find something for Wendy. She's the daughter of a lumberjack so what present is perfect for her? A wooden sculpture of her, perhaps? Nah. I want to give her something amazing, something unknown. Heck even an artifact from somewhere that I have never known would be worth it. I walked, thinking what present should I give when I saw a lake.

This can help me think better. From what I heard in radios water can calm your mind... I guess? I removed my shoes, placed them near me and let my feet touch the water. It was relaxing and I bet I could stay here for a hour or two, if I wasn't on the rush finding the gift. A few minutes passed and I was about to go away when I stubbed my toe from the lake floor.

"Ow!"I grunted when something shimmering caught my eyes.

It was a shiny green emerald about the size of my hand when I picked it up. It was the perfect gift for Wendy. Who knows,we might unravel its secrets together with the gang. I wore my shoes and ran to the Mystery Shack to tell them about this discovery.

Early Fact #2: The lake where Dipper found the Emerald is once a waterfall but for copyright and legal reasons I changed it to a lake.

So, yeah... I'm not in a mood to make a spoiler, but I have to. Chapter 2 is really short,I tell you. Sorry if this is short, but we're just starting this.

Also, if anyone tells me that this has similarities to another Gravity Falls/Sonic crossover and that I'm plagiarizing it, well no. I don't. I'm just really hyped to make this. If I didn't put this, I've gone nuts! I'm trying make another crossover like this because this type of crossover is very FEW. Don't believe me? Then try to search this on Wattpad, even from fanfic.net would do. You'll see what I mean.

Eggman: *pops out of nowhere* Yeah, not. I'm telling you that the audience has to have new chapters after edits or they'll get bored like before.

Geez, like I would get them bored. Now get out. It's not your cue yet.

*door slam*

Do I have to add masking tape to the door to avoid the 4th wall to be wrecked? I guess. *sigh* Anyway, bye.
