Nick closed the car door as he sighed, "I'm gonna miss Taylor," he said, backing the car out of the parking lot. Selena smiled as she put her hand on his, "Well, I was not expecting that- but yeah, I will miss her, too."
Nick cringed playfully, "Pfft, you don't have to mention it, you guys are like- best friends, I would be surprised if you WOULDN'T miss her."
Selena chuckled as she slapped Nick's hand, "Oh, shut up." She turned to the window as Nick drove off onto the highway, leaving LAX airport behind. She watched as Taylor's plane descend up into the blue cloudless sky.
General - Zayn
Zayn sat on his couch staring at the TV. He was just staring at it. Actually, he wasn't only staring at the TV at this moment, he was also thinking. Thinking about someone in particular.
If you were thinking that Zayn was thinking about Taylor, who was high in the air, off to a fun six months of tour, no, he was not.
If you're thinking that Zayn was thinking about Gigi, who was currently on her way home from LAX, driving his black Jeep, nope, not thinking about her either.
He was thinking about Selena. Yeah, the same Selena who sang beautifully.
Selena Gomez.
Nick
"Where're you going, babe?" I asked as I turned to see Selena with a big fur coat. She jerked her head around at me and smiled, "Oh, I just wanted to go out, y' know." I nodded, "Go... out? Go out where?"
I swear I could've seen her roll her eyes, "Well, I just thought I wanted to get some... ice cream?"
"That sounds nice," I said, trying to ignore the fact that she just rolled her eyes at me. "Ben & Jerry's?" She frowned at me and chuckled, "Which other!? Alright, I gotta go now-" I turned back to my sandwich and nodded, "Stay safe, babe, don't want you hurt."
She came up to me and kissed me on the cheek and I heard the door click as it closed. I sighed to myself and my thoughts trailed off to the day of the anniversary we had, it was a great way to distract me from all the things happening around me like the fact that Selena and Zayn dated once- and that happened just before we met at that coffee shop!
I took a bite of my sandwich and a satisfied groan came out of my mouth, "This is good shit," I mumbled to myself as I gathered up all the mayonnaise and tuna.
I sat down on the counter and started eating my sandwich.
Selena
I lied to Nick.
Okay, I know I said I wouldn't lie to him ever again, but sometimes... you just gotta. I mean, I've been around him so much, I think he's annoyed with me.
Well, I'm really fine with being around him all the time, but sometimes, I think he needs some time alone. I bet he's even enjoying that sandwich... (Nick makes horrible tuna sandwiches, although he doesn't think so.)
I picked my favorite store- Kiwi.
The store kinda sucks more than the one next door, but the security guard was always so fussy with me, would never ever let me go in, so I'm more into this one. He said it was because of all the chaos and the screaming I caused- I chuckled to myself as I thought about this, he is ridiculous.
I strolled through the grocery store and sighed to myself as I scanned the rows of canned goods, I know I told Nick I was going to just buy Ben & Jerry's and get back, but I kinda wanna stay a little longer.
I made my way swiftly around the store and grabbed a pint of Mint-chocolate-chip; Nick's favorite, and started to walk towards the cashier. Another part of me kinda wanted to go back home, cuz I feel like something bad is about to happen-
Just when I thought this, I bumped into a dude in a big black coat. I stared at his body, not focusing on his body; he wore a big thick coat and a black turtle neck on the inside. It wasn't even snowing or cold, why is this guy being so extra? I was slouching slightly and I scanned from his waist down to his feet, the man wore boots and skinny jeans.
"Selena...? What are you doing here?"
Zayn
When you live in L.A, you gotta act like you're actually in L.A.
Back when I'm in Bradford, I do anything I want all day, sit and chill on the couch with my family's dog Hunter on my lap- it's always like that there. But here, you do modern stuff and swear almost every second.
I'm not judging that everyone here is like that- but I'm just saying.
I trudged over to my fridge and opened it, "Damn it, why did I have to be so hungry and eat all the food in the fridge?" I shook my head in disbelief. I like to talk to myself when I'm alone- but I never do this when Gigi's around.
I walked upstairs to my bedroom to change into something fashionable and... hot. I was going to go out for a stroll in the city, give the paps a little treat. They haven't seen me in a pretty long time- well, 5 days is a long time for me.
I grabbed my car keys and locked the house as I hurried to my car, hopping into the drivers' seat as I drive off into L.A, so glad to be back on this baby.
***
I Parked and walked around L.A, looking for a nice mart or grocery store where I can get a little energy drink; my legs are worn out from all this walking. I'm still so glad I chose these fashionable combat boots instead of Vans- they would've gotten me to stop halfway through my walk.
I nodded a little sorry at the security guard of the store who had an expression of confusion mixed with anger. I don't think he knows I'm Zyan Malik...
"Sir, you're bringing trouble, please go to the next one, I don't foresee people like you," The guy talked out at me and I stopped dead in my tracks. "What?" I said, furrowing my brow. He had crinkled his eyebrows as he looked over my shoulder at the paparazzi, who were snapping a bunch of shutter shots.
"Please, go before I call the police," the fat man in the blue uniform and a cap said.
I shook my head in disbelief and raised a hand up, queen-like as I shuffled to the next store. This one was called 'Kiwi'.
