*I wanted to just tell you in case there are some parts in the story where I didn't tell you the person talking.

"Hold on- what're you saying?"

Joe was giving Nick weird stares after his whole speech, hoping it didn't mean what it really meant. Nick showed a hint of excitement, but he masked it well; "I kinda think you know what I meant."

"Um, yeah? You said a whole bunch of shit about your fame, but what the hell was your point?" Okay, this is turning into a very tense conversation, lots of swearing.

"Woah, Joe, let's keep this friendly," Selena said, sounding a lot like a mom. "Nick, just get to the point," Selena didn't get to say anymore because the middle Jonas interrupted, "Yeah, NICHOLAS, get to the point and stop beating around the bush!"

Okay, I don't think this was what Nick was expecting.

"I don't understand why you're being all cussy and fussy- if you don't want to hear what I'm about to tell you, I might as well not- I've always thought Kevin was the better brother, anyway!"

Joe felt struck with this and his eyes watched Nick as he slammed the table cloth off of his lap and stormed out of the kitchen, unbothered to even stop him.

Selena gave Joe a cold glare and sighed, shaking her head, "I'm guessing that I don't get to say anything because I don't really know what it's like to have guy siblings."

"You don't," Joe said, coldly, staring down at the table.

Nick

I don't get it! Why does life have to be so hard- I mean, why can't I have clones that do whatever I want to do!?

But then there's the selfish part!

I sighed as I slumped myself down on the couch, I already knew all the answers to my questions; I don't get what I want because life isn't perfect!

I laid back and stared up at the ceiling, my hand resting on my stomach. The door creaked open and I didn't even have to look to know who came in.

"Nick."

He let out a cough and cleared his throat as if he tried to force himself not to cry. I'm even betting Selena forced him to do this.

"You don't have to do this, I know Selena put you up."

I was thinking that he'd just let out a breath of relief and just walk out the door, but he stayed for some stupid reason.

"No, and that's no for the first part; Selena did put me up-" he cleared his throat again, and I had to force myself to not smile.

"I kinda don't want to do this, but I know I was fucking wrong back there; shutting you up when you were trying to talk to me- even though it could've been shit. I know this is the role of an older brother; to listen to a younger brother when he needs me. I... sorta didn't play my role of an older brother, and I'm really fucking sorry, you can tell me whatever you want, cuz I'm all ears."

I sighed, relieved that Joe finally came to his senses- but I kinda wished he'd left the swear words out.

"Where's Selena?" I said, trying not to sound too cold.

"She's..."

"Listening at the door?" I said, chuckling.

Joe nodded and I felt him smile, "Yeah, she... she's crying."

I sat up and saw Selena at the door, face in her hands, wiping the tears.

I smiled and got up, walking towards my girlfriend, "Why're you crying?" I said, my shoulder shaking as I laughed. (I don't know why they shake, I'm guessing they're natural)

"You guys were so sweet..."

Selena continued to cry into the sleeves of her long hoodie and I pulled her into a warm bear hug, her silent tears wetting my t-shirt.

I looked up at Joe, who was leaning on the door frame. I smiled at him and he smiled back, warmly.

I kissed Selena's temple and she looked up at me, pecking my lips.

"Alright, get a room!" Joe raised his hands in the air as I pulled away from Selena and I cringed at him. "You can tell me what you wanna tell me- but if you won't, get a room, fuck each other, or get the hell out."

I laughed at his remark and shook my head, "Alright, my love for you can wait," I gave Selena another peck on the lips as Joe cringed, making a face as he tried to imitate me.

"Oh, I can't wait," Joe cringed at Selena's dirty comment and let out an ugh in disgust, making me laugh.

I sat back down on the couch, pulling Selena with me as Joe did the same on the other side of the couch.

"I just wanted to say; I missed what we did back in the days, and just because I broke up the band doesn't mean we can't do something awesome again-" I twisted up the words a little bit because I didn't think that I was really ready for that...

"Would you and Kevin like to guest star at my concert, Coachella?"

My eyes scanned Joe's blank expression as he pressed his elbows on his knees, staring up at me.

Selena's head jerked and I smiled down at her; I could tell that she was really surprised.

"I'm down, but I don't really know about Kevin, he's still pretty sour from the fact that we did our last performance as 'The Jonas Brothers' without him... It was the Jingle Ball, right?"

I nodded, my gaze staring down at the grey fur carpet on the living room floor. I definitely did NOT think about that.
