Third Person POV

"Yo Sam" A brunette called from the kitchen.

"Yeah what's up?" The blonde called back as he headed downstairs, following his best friends voice.

"We need to film today so the video will be out in time. Any ideas on what we should do? I kinda just wanna do something laid back." Colby said to the older, cutting up onions.

"Oh yeah sure dude. I don't know what we should do though... I can look up challenges or something maybe? Do you think Jake and Corey will wanna play?" Sam asked him.

Colby shrugs. "I'm sure they will just ask" he said with a smile and he looked back down as he was chopping the vegetables.

Sam nods and texts the group chat.

Sam- Hey guys me and Colby need to make a video. We wanna do some kind of challenge or game do u guys wanna join?

Corey- Can't bro i'm sorry, i'm with Elton right now.

Jake- Sure i'll be down in a lil.

Sam- Okay thanks Jake! It's no problem Corey, have fun.

Sam put his phone in his pocket and looked at the brunette. "Jakes coming Corey isn't" he said simply.

Colby nodded and went back to cooking.

Eventually Jake comes down.

"Are we eating first?" he asked. Sam shrugged as he was sitting on the counter and Colby nodded.

"Its done now actually" he said putting the food on three separate plates and handing it to his friends.

"Thanks man" Jake said in response and sat on the couch. Colby hummed letting him know he heard him.

"Thank you Colby" Sam said.

"No problem Sammy" the taller replied, which made Sam freeze.

He never calls Sam that, and if he does it's ironically and rare.

Colby continued eating as if nothing happened while Sam and Jake stared at him in confusion.

Sam looked at Jake trying to get an answer and Jake just laughed it off, beginning to eat again.

Colby's phone dinged and he reached in his pocket grabbing it and seeing a text from Brennen.

Sam watched as he typed and then got up, grabbing his plate and putting it in the fridge.

"Wait where are you going?" Sam asked him.

"Brennen wants to record for a video so I gotta go" he says grabbing his keys and sliding his shoes on.

Sams eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "But weren't we just about to record?" he asked.

"Yeah but I haven't made a video with Brennen in a while. Sorry man, i'll be back later!" He says and rushes out the door.

Sam sighed and slumped down. Putting his plate beside him as he didn't feel like eating anymore.

Jake shook his head in disappointment.

"I'm sorry he did that man that was pretty shitty. But hey me and you could still record a video?" Jake asked trying to cheer up his blonde friend.

Sam smiled lightly but he didn't have the same light in his eyes as he did when Colby asks him to make a video.

"Sure. Let me know when you're ready." He says and hops off the counter, walking to his room.

Sam was hurt. He felt betrayed.

"Stop being a brat Sam it's just a video" he said to himself.
