Third Person POV

"Sam..why? Did she do something?" Jake interfered. The blonde, who was now a nervous wreck, was sweating. His leg bouncing up and down from the worry he had inside him.

"I- I don't know why I said that..i'm sorry please don't tell her" Sam begged, looking as stressed as ever.

"No dude of course we won't, but why were you thinking of that?" Colby questioned. Sam was feeling sick by now. Colby and jake probably think he's a bad person.

Sam decided not to tell any lies since it would only make the situation worse. And it would make him feel even more guilty.

"Well I- I was thinking about...someone else. And I don't wanna think about him when i'm with Kat. It just feels wrong." Sam admitted.

There was an awkward silence, both Jake and Colby's faces looked like they had seen a ghost. Which made Sam confused. Yes, it's shocking that he's thinking of someone else but they looked...terrified?

"What?" The blonde questioned.

"Sam...you said he" Jake replied. Sam still didn't process what he had meant.

"What do you mean?"

"Sam. You said he. You said you were thinking about a guy. He." Colby said in a serious tone, gripping the wheel tighter.

That's when the blonde completely lost it.

"W-what?! No I- I didn't mean it! I meant to say she! Guys it was a small mistake I swear I-" Once again, he got cut off by Jake.

"Dude dude- calm down okay? If you have something to tell us...let us know. You know we would support you no matter what."

"What?! No guys i'm not gay! I'm straight I- I swear!" Sam panicked, he didn't know why he was panicking so much. He felt guilty. As if he was lying to them, and himself.

"We didn't say anything about you being gay." Colby said, once again, sternly.

The blonde was wondering why his best friend seemed so angry. He let it slide though and gave up on trying to convince the boys that he meant she.

"So..who were you thinking about?" Jake asked, curious.

Sam sighed and leaned his head back onto the seat, closing his eyes. "None of your concern." he said a bit too harsh.
