Third Person POV

Soon the three friends got done eating and decided to go over to brennens to film and hang out.

They were all good friends with Brennen, although Colby was the closest with him.

But sometimes...they would call each other their "best friend" which made Sam get a weird sensation in his stomach. Was he jealous? Well, he said he wasn't. He convinced himself that there was no reason to be jealous. He knows him and Colby are best friends, not Colby and Brennen.

...Right?

Shaking the thought from his mind, Sam sat in the backseat of the car. As Colby was driving and Jake was sat in the passenger seat.

Jake and Colby making small talk as Sam slumped in his seat, looking out the window while resting his face resting on his hand.

Colby had chuckled at something stupid Jake said, then looked in the mirror to look at the Blonde for a split second.

"Sam? You alright?" He spoke, then turned his eyes back on the road.

"Hm? Yeah i'm fine" Sam said intensely. Not taking his eyes away from the window.

"You sure? You've been acting pretty weird today dude" Colby replied.

"Oh i'm fine. Sorry i'm just- thinking about stuff I guess."

"Thinking about what?"

Sams eyes widened, his breathing started to get heavier as he questioned himself in that moment.

you, i'm thinking about you. but why?!

Sam thought. "Just- thinking about Kat." He said simply. The boy wasn't particularly lying, he was thinking about his lover. But not in a good way.

He was comparing her to Colby.

Why isn't she texting back? Colby always answers my texts.

She seems like she's bored of me. Colby always acts like he's interested at least.

Her hugs are okay. Colby's are better though.

Was some of the stuff Sam had been thinking. "Aw you lovebirds. Thinking about your girlfriend on a guys day? What a romantic Sam" Jake joked and laughed lightly.

"I'm thinking about breaking up with her." Sam said abruptly, making jake stop laughing and the car fill with an awkward silence. Everyone's eyes wide.

Why did I just say that?! Sam thought.

Colby looked at him through the mirror again, with concerned eyes. Then back at the road. "Seriously? Why? You guys have been together for years...?" Colby asked.

"I- well it's just-" The blonde couldn't get words out of his mouth. Well, he didn't know what words to get out.
