It had been 2 weeks since Chelsea had started 10th grade by now practically the entire school knew about the unspoken competition between Chelsea and Rachel about who was taller and some students had even placed bets on who they thought was taller (rumors had it even some of the teachers were in on it too). In between classes they asked people who they thought was taller which usually ended in an argument with the people around them who couldn't agree who was taller.
Despite this competition Rachel and Chelsea were kind of like friends they talked to each other during any freetime they got during school they had even gone to each others houses on multiple occasions. Even though they had so many instances of doing things that friends would do best friends even they would always laugh it off and deny it if someone asked if they were friends it was kind of like that saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer".
