"Do you like me chim?"

The guys had decided to stay a night at taehyung's residence as it got too late for them to go home.

Still, at Kim's house, The boy was currently sitting on the small balcony that was attached to taehyung's bedroom. They had divided the room for the night where yoongi and hoseok had gotten one, the namjin couple had gotten another while the remaining three were to be sharing a room.

Taehyung hadn't been able to sleep since he had a lot of unsolved questions revolving in his head, resulting in him having a staring competition with the moon while he was sitting on the balcony that was attached to his bedroom.

A shift in a chair was heard. Taehyung diverted his attention to his side only to see him sitting beside him, a small smile on his face. Taehyung smiled back.

"Oh did I wake you up? I'm sorry"

Jimin shook his head vigorously at this.

"Well, then why are you awake? It's almost 1 in the morning chim"

Jimin just shrugged looking up at the dark sky. Admiring its true beauty. He always loved staring at the sparkling yet calm sky. It would always bring him joy. A new feeling.

Turning towards the male sitting beside him, he gained taehyung's attention.

"You have something to say chim?"

Jimin nodded.

"Thank you" he signed

"Hmm, why are you thanking me?"

Jimin pointed to his ears.

"Oh, jiminie I have done nothing for you to thank me. You just got back what you deserved. You have every right to be able to hear this beautiful melody in silence that nature sings every night. It's sweet, isn't it? I mean the nature's song."

Jimin just nodded at this.

"Why are you awake tae?"

"Hmm just have a lot on my mind. I'm trying to soth out things but they're just getting me entangled more and more."

Tae had a lot on his mind for sure but the one thing that had occupied his thoughts was today's incident. During the dinner.

It was cleared now that Jimin was single and wasn't dating jungkook. Which also meant that he was free to have feelings for the shorter. But would jimin reciprocate them?

He had seen jimin's face when the others had asked him whether he like taehyung or not. Jimin had blushed over that and of course, taehyung found it super adorable but he wasn't sure if he had blushed due to his liking against taehyung or just out of embarrassment.

Fuck this I'll just ask him.

"Do you like me chim?"

The unexpected question from taehyung had got the boy's eyes to widen. Did he just do that? Did he have to ask that?!

Jimin couldn't quite swallow the question that was thrown at him so he just looked down.

There was silence....with a bit of jungkook snoring in the background of course.

Taehyung was getting too impatient.

He took hold of both of jimin's small hands.

"Look jiminie I really like you a lot. But then I was under the impression that you were dating kook so I thought that it wasn't healthy for me to have this kind of feelings towards you but then now that it's clear that you both aren't a thing, I really wanna make this feeling work. It's fine if you don't like me back but I wish you do...fuck the hell am I babbling"
