Growing up in a not so safe environment, Absolute Zero was taught not to show any emotions. If she did, it could lead to many implications of the team she worked with when planning out the actual assassination. If she felt any pity or remorse for the target, it could lead the team into thinking she's weak. Because of her background of being alert 24/7, she struggles to fully trust people. This may be true, but there are some people that just instantly click for her. And those are the people that she doesn't want to let go.

With being an adrenaline junkie, she has a hard time with being a vigilante. Most heroes that work under the shadows are very safe and secure, but that's the problem for her. She's practically addicted to the feeling because for once, it's the only thing that makes her feel like she's alive. Sadly enough, her love for adrenaline was the cause of her path in becoming a hero. Because of Bakugou's and Deku's face of gratification, she almost became addicted to showing the civilians a show where she always demonstrates how far she'll go. It's almost similar to a show she'll put on for ignorant pedestrians and such. But as long as she gets a reaction from the crowd, she's satisfied.
