"Hero too"

We walked side by side, he hadn't looked up from the ground for the past five minutes and relied on me to get us across the road safely without even realizing it himself. We made our way to the commotion after a while. "I must've subconsciously went this way... I might as well watch..." We pushed our way through the crowd.

He looked up and his eyes shot as wide as mine, I already knew what he was thinking. "Kacchan!?" He placed his hands on his head, turning his face to the towards the ground, his expression was both pained and terrified. "I-it's my fault-" His voice shook and he stood completely still before looking to me. He hand gestured for me to stay, but I couldn't. I knew exactly what he was about to do. He was gonna get himself killed for some idiot who's only bullied him, why does he do this? What is he trying to prove?

He ran, and so did I, ready to transform at any second, he slung his bag off of his shoulder and chucked it at the creature, papers and pens spilling out, but it let off of Bakugou for just a quick moment, giving him a breath of air. I may not have agreed with him, but I'd do anything for Izuku. I leaped, grabbing Bakugou's arm, attempting to pull him free. Nothing about this moment felt real, nothing about this entire day felt real. And again, All Might landed infront of us, and with that smile he proudly wears, he gave us a nod before turning to the monster. "DETRIOT- SMAAASH!" The villian immediately was obliterated, Bakugou was saved.

"When I saw this timid quirkless boy run into the action, it inspired me too." Above us the clouds spun, and it began to rain. People in the background could be heard saying many phrases. "He changed the weather..." "AllMight!" "He saved him in just one punch!" The crowed yelled, and some cried, praising All Might. Izuku was soon to be scolded by the other heroes, while Bakugou was praised. Bullshit. I bared my teeth in their direction

"M-miyu-" He choked out. "And get that dog under control. It could've hurt the boy."

It? He was pissing me off now. I came to a growl now, approaching them slowly. "I-i'm so-sorry! She's just worked up after the villian- that's all!" He placed his hand on my back; Meanwhile I wanted to tear this idiots balls off. First he's gonna scold the only person, a quirkless child in high school, that actually jumped in to help with zero hesitation. 'You could've been killed.' They told him. As if I'd let that happen, I mentally scoffed.

"Miyu-" He sounded worried. "S-sit-" I turned around to face him for a moment, hesitant for a moment to follow his command, but I did.

"I-I have her trained- nothing to worry about-!" He defended upon the dirty looks they gave. "Yea that's an awfully big dog for a kid to be handling, wouldn't want it to bite someone." Izuku's expression changed, and into a harsh one. "She, wouldn't do that." He emphasized. "C'mon." He snapped his fingers at me sternly. I followed behind him. I can't say I don't like how he acts when he defends me, it's like he doesn't let anyone push me around, even though, presumably i'm an animal. "I'm glad you're my friend Miyu-" He smiled to me as we walked.

"You wouldn't hurt anyone..." He lifted an eyebrow and tilted his head. "Would you...?" I decided to play my 'dumb dog' card and stuck my tongue out stupidly, wagging my tail, not even looking him i'm the face. "Yea no." He giggled as we continued the walk home.

"Deku!" Bakugou stopped infront of us, panting, seems he sprinted just to find us. "I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW- YOU DIDN'T HELP ME! I DIDN'T NEED YOU OUT THERE! YOU DID NOTHING! YOU'RE JUST A QUIRKLESS WANNABE WHO WOULDN'T CUT IT AS A RENT-A-COP!" He yelled, not making eye contact with us before running off. "What what that all about..." I tilted my head at his response about Bakugou. We continued our walk, but soon... "I AM HERE!" "Fashionably late!"

All Might was triumphant striking a 'buff guy pose', before spitting out blood and returning to his true form. "ALL MIGHT!?" All Might brought his finger to his lips. "Be quiet kid! And listen well..." He exhaled. "Young man... I came here to thank you, and discuss your question from earlier." He paused. "If you hadn't told me about your life, or ran into that fight... I would've been a worthless bystander in that crowd. You inspired me."

"Oh- no! It was my fault he was there to begin with- I got in the way of your hard work... And waisted your energy- and not to mention, your time..." He looked to the floor, gripping his backpack straps.

"I'm not done." All Might replied. "You told me you didn't have a quirk. So when I saw this timid quirkless boy try to save a life... It inspired me to act too."

Izuku gasped at his words. "There's a story to every hero. How they became great, most have one thing in common. They moved before they could think." Izuku whimpered, holding back tears. "And today... That's what happened to you." He began to sob.

"What you showed me today was a true act of bravery. And I believe, you too can become a hero. The true name of my power... Is One. For. All." He closed his hand into a fist. "One... For... All..." Izuku repeated, whispering.

"In my youth I was quirkless, just like you! But my quirk is one of a kind- it can be passed from one person to another, growing stronger everytime."

"Passed on!? But quirks can't be passed on- this defies all of the knowledge scientists know about quirks as it is. It would be impossible-" His mumbling continued. "Creepy!- You must accept this new truth-! What i'm saying is... I could pass this onto you."

"Huh...?" He squeaked before sobbing eternally.

"I-i'm not gonna force this thing on ya kid but you gotta cut out the waterworks-" He face palmed. "Do you want my quirk or not?" Izuku quickly rubbed his face clean with his sleeve. "Yes! I'll do it!" He held back more tears. "That's what I thought. No hesitation!" I soon got lost in thought while they talked about other things, exchanging phone numbers, discussing plans.

With this quirk- Izuku wouldn't need me to be his companion anymore. He wouldn't need me by his side to fight. I felt sick, I wanted to run away. This screwed everything. After a while of sitting and contemplating the future, my name was called. "Miyu-" But I just layed there. "Hey-" He ran to me and crouched down beside me. "Are you okay...?" He placed his hand between my ears.

I turned in his direction, but instead made eye contact with All Might, and focused it, he quickly looked uncomfortable. "Right... You must be really tired..." Izuku picked me up, he struggled just a little but managed. "You're heavy-" He strained. "Well i'll see you soon kid- good luck with your... Dog." He waved off. "Bye-!" Izuku replied. "Let's go home and get you taken care of okay...? You need a bath-" He chuckled.
