"SHE'S BACK!"

I walked into the headquarters smiling slightly.

"Hey everyone~" I said and waved as everyone turned to look at me.

"The Weathers great today isn't it?"

"Y/N-SAN?!" Tanjiro yelled running over.

"Why were you gone for so long?! We thought something happened!"

Something did happen.

"We were so worried!"

I can take care of myself.

"Haha im sorry everyone. Some stuff came up and i ended up going demon hunting." I said as tanjiro nodded.

"Well, you do kind of smell like demons..."

"It took a while.I'll go get myself cleaned up."

"Agh. Sorry i left right after i healed up. What happened while i was gone?" i asked as i stuffed my mouth full with rice.

"Ah... well they had a emergency pillar meeting and in te end, they decided it would be best to train together with the pillars." Tanjiro said as i started coughing, having choked on my food.

"A JOINT TRAINING?! WHY?"

"Ah the demon slayer mark. Muichiro-san had it during his fight."

"A slayer mark?" i asked and drank some water, pushing the empty bowls away.

"I've heard about it before but i never seen anyone else with it except for you."

"It spreads to others. so now their training members of the corps in hopes of finding more people who can bear the mark."

"Hm. I see..."

"I'm going to see giyuu-sa. Would you like to come along?" Tanjiro asked as i nooded and grabbed my sword. "Let's go."

"And everyones training!" Tanjiro said smiling brightly. I can't see why he's always smiling. i sweatdroped. I'm like the complete oppisite of him... i sighed and leaned against a tree.

"I'm mad because you didn't master the breath of water. You needed to become the water pillar." Giyuu said  to tanjiro.

"I'm really sorry about that. It's not rare to change breaths or create an offshot of one. And the breath of the water is one of the basic breaths so there are a lot of dericatives."

"That's not what i was talking about." Giyuu said.

"Someone has to be the water pillar right now beacuse the water pillar seat is vacant."

.....

Wait what? He's not the water pillar? what?

"I am no tthe water pillar."

Huh? What? He's not the water pillar? what?

"Go away." He said as he walked away from tanjiro.

I groaned as tanjiro kept following giyuu. Its already the 4th day. when is he going to give up?

"hm?"

"I never actually passed the final selection." giyu said, stopping.

he never passed? how he's right here.

"Back then, there was a boy whose family got killed by demons, just like me. His name was sabito."

Sabito? a boy whose family got killed by demons? Sabito? THAT sabito? The one with the pinkish hair?

I watched silently as giyuu told tanjiro what he thinks, about himself being th ewater pillar.

Thats enougth.

I turned back nd looked over at shinbou's estate. I guess it's time to get a some bandages...

"Shi-"

i paused mid sentence and quicly hid behind the door.

"The dmeon who killed my sister kanae. How about i tell you how to kill it?"

Kill... it?

"The demon... How to kill it?"

Both shinbou and kanao turned around and stared at me.

"No way... You can't. He's impossiable to kill." i said as shinbou waved me inside.

"Y/n-san? why do you say that?" she asked as i inhaled harshly.

"Upper moon 2 right? There's not way you two can beat him alone. How are you going to kill thaat monster?!"

"Poisen." shinbou said.

"Poisen?"

"Yes westeria poisen. I'm hoping, it will weaken him to a point where kanao can kill it." She said.

"Not to mention, I'll teach her a new emergency technique."

And so. Shinbou explained her plan. But unbeknownst to them, there was a traitor within the corps. And that traitor, was me.
