It was a happy evening, Izuku was running around with his twin sister playing hero while Inko was getting prepared to go to the quirk doctor.
Inko POV
Inko: Izuku! Izumi! It's time to leave.
She could hear them cheerfully saying yes mom coming! She could only only help but form a smile on her face.
1 hour later
Narrator POV
Doctor: hello Mrs Yagi I am sorry to inform you this but I have some bad news and good news, which would you like to hear first.
Inko fidgets a little before answering.
Inko: I would like the bad news please.
Doctor: S-sorry kid......not gonna happen........
Hearing this deku dropped his all might figurine on the floor and looks at his sister and his mom with a face of shock.
Inko and Izumi couldn't bear to look at their brother in this pitiful state so they avoided making eye contact with him. But that wasn't what Izuku needed. After a moment of silence the doctor speaks up.
Doctor: Well...The good news is that Izumi has the most amazing quirk I've every seen called Mana, basically a combination of yours and her fathers. She can stockpile up energy within her body, basically her fathers stockpile quirk but also manipulate it just like your quirk. She can use the energy within her body to preform actions such as shooting fire, water, air, earth, energy, perform telekinesis, enhance herself, heal, and maybe more. It's basically like magic, the only downside is that she will get fatigued because it runs on her stamina.
Hearing this Inko cheers up and says starts to praise Izumi.
Inko: Wow! You hear that you can be just like all might
Izumi: Yay, I can become the number 1 hero and surpass all might
Meanwhile izuku was thinking to himself why why....... why isn't mom cheering me, why is mom ignoring me, can I still become a hero without a quirk?
Izuku POV
After the visit the car ride was silent, I felt as if I couldn't breathe and due to the overwhelming atmosphere. I knew that things would change either for the better or for the worse, but I didn't want to admit it. I step out of the car and I can see dad greeting us.
He proceeds to ask how did it go with mom responding "izuku is quirkless and Izumi has a powerful quirk a combination between our quirks called mana." He then proceeds to pick up Izumi and start celebrating forgetting about me. I start to make my way up to my room and to my desk while rewatching old all might videos.
