There is no way I am doing what Cam tells me to. How could he dictate orders to me like that ? I don't like parties and so I won't be attending one. I thought.
I hadn't seen Margaret or Arianna in class today. Maybe they decided to bunk classes today. It would have been pretty useless to ask me. I don't bunk classes. I did not understand the purpose of missing class.
I texted Anna that I would not go for any shopping trips. I already had loads of work to do.
I grabbed my bag from the locker and headed towards my car. My bag was a complete mess and it was difficult to fish for my key. While I was struggling with my bag someone grabbed me from behind.
I turned around to face the person but before I could set my eyes upon that person I was blindfolded. It was a blackout.
I tried to free myself and run away but this guy had a tight grip on me. I tried to scream but somone else placed a hand on my mouth. I attempted to bite the hand but it was of no use. A thin sheen of sweat covered my forehead.
Before I even knew, I was pushed inside a car and it sped away.
Doesn't this seem like a kidnap scene from movies? I could bet upon my favourite convertible that it was one. But why would anyone kidnap me ? What had I done to make enemies? Or was this due to my dad ?
A thousand questions were running in my mind when I felt someone's hand at the back of my head. My first reaction was to pull that hand away but I stopped. That person was opening my blindfold.
A wave of relief went through my body.
I took a while to readjust myself to the brightness. When I finally adjusted, my lips circled into one big O on seeing the person next to me, it was Cameron.
Wow!..*sarcasm*
My kidnappers comprised of my bestfriends! Cam, Jake and Anna !
On seeing my expression, they all started laughing.
How could they do this to me? They scared me as hell.
"Atleast close your mouth Jessie.." Jake commented between his laughs and winked at me from the front mirror.
Noticing that my mouth was still open, I closed it! They were still laughing.
"Please remind me, why am I even friends with you guys?" I asked dramatically.
"Coz you love us dear." Anna said holding out her hands trying to hug me from the front seat.
"Ya..ya.." I commented.
Anna was my closest friend. She was always there by my side when I needed her. She was the person to advice me on all matters. And I must say, she was never wrong. She always gave me a 'I told you' look when things she said turned out to be true. I met her three years ago. She is an ambivert. So along with being a party girl, she even loved the world of literature and that's what brought us together. But right now, I felt as if she had ditched me along with the guys.
"Guyz, now will you all tell me what is the reason for kidnapping me?"
" We are going shopping, babes!" This time it was Cam who spoke.
