the first time she babysits him (requested)

You rushed to the front door as soon as Jisoo was knocking on it. Upon opening it, she greeted you with a big smile and stole a sweet peck from your lips before you let her in.

"Jisoo!" Aiden yelled excitedly, running over to her to give her a hug.

"Thank you so much for this, Jisoo." You said as you grabbed your sweater from the rack. "I really appreciate it. I can't remember the last time I was able to go out with my friends."

"That's why I'm more than happy to come and watch Aiden for you. You work really hard and you deserve a night out with your friends. Besides, we're good pals. We'll be just fine for a few hours, won't we, Aiden?"

"yeah!" He spoke excitedly before shoving another piece of the snack you got for him into his mouth.

"See? Everything is fine. I figured we could watch some movies and play some games until he goes to bed."

"Okay." You smiled, looking between the both of them. "Have lots of fun. If you need me for any reason, my phone is gonna be on the entire time and I left numbers for my friends on the fridge, so if you can't get through to me you can get through to them."

She shook her head with a laugh, helping you pull on your sweater before she began to guide you to the front door.

"I will be home before ten o'clock, he needs to be in bed by nine at the very latest."

"Okay, baby, we've got it." Jisoo chuckled. "Stop fussing and let go. Have a good time. Don't worry your pretty little head over anything. You know he's in good hands with me."

"I know." You spoke softly, calming down as you stood in the doorway.

"Be good, buddy, and have fun with Jisoo! I'll tell you goodnight when I get home."

He nodded and continued to eat his snack while waving goodbye.

"Thank you again, Jisoo. I know it seems like I'm worrying but I trust you, you know that? And I really appreciate you taking care of him for me."

"Anytime." She smiled and kissed your lips lovingly. "Now, go and have fun. We'll see you when you get home."

You kissed her cheek and waved goodbye to Aiden before walking out the door and to your car. You pulled out of the driveway and saw them waving to you until the house was out of sight.

"Just us now, buddy." Jisoo smiled and sat on the sofa beside him. "Watching cartoons?"

"Yeah!"

She recognized them right away. It's the same one they watched together on the day you introduced Jisoo to him.

Since that day, everything seems so much brighter now. She finds happiness in everything, especially the two of you.

Although she's still a hard worker, she finds that she tries to take a little more time away than before so she can spend it with the both of you.

You still go out on dates, having nights out on the town, and going out to fancy places that Jisoo treats you to that are certainly not fit for a child.

However, you spend a lot of dates at home with pizza or takeout or homemade meals. You go bowling and out for ice cream, to the park, and to the zoo.

These are things she hasn't done over the last few years, but she finds endless happiness in them now, and she always looks forward to them.

And although she and Aiden are getting pretty close, this is the first time she's ever babysat him before.

When your friends invited you for a night out, Jisoo was the one who saw the text since you had been cooking dinner at the time and told her to check your phone that night.
