Leaving

I was startled awake by the movement of the bed.

"Wake up, sleepy head! We got to get to Franco's!" Seth shouted while he jumped on the bed.

I groaned, rubbed my eyes, and turned over, my back to Seth. He hopped onto the ground and walked to the other side of the bed.

"C'mon Sam," he coaxed.

I opened my eyes and Seth started to shake me.

"Oh my god! Stop! I'm up!" I yelled.

He let out a slight chuckle.

Oh my. I love his laugh.

"Is that what you're wearing?" Seth asked, walking to his dresser.

I looked down at my outfit. I am NOT going to dress up to go to James Franco's house. I will always dress casual. T-shirt and jeans is my signature outfit. "Uh, yeah. What's wrong with it?"

Seth smirked. "Nothing," he replied as he took off his shirt to put on a nicer one.

I darted my eyes towards the picture of us, making it look like I didn't see him.

He put on a plaid shirt and started buttoning it up. When he was done, he headed out his bedroom door, and I followed.

"Taxi's gonna be here in a couple minutes, Jay," Seth announced.

Jay sighed and had a sour look on his face.

"Maybe we should just stay here and smoke more?" Jay added.

"No, man. We're going to have so much fun at Franco's. All of our friends are gonna be there. I promise I won't ditch you," He explained, opening to front door.

Jay reluctantly got up from the couch, and went out the door. I followed him, and Seth locked the door.

"Taxi's here!" I shouted grabbing Jay's arm and pulling him towards the cab.

I sat in the middle, Jay sat on the right, and Seth was on the left.

Seth told the driver the address and soon we were off.

I was actually kinda excited for the party. I didn't exactly know why.

The driver said it would take half an hour to get there.

We all sat in the backseat, silent, not saying a word.

I was still a little sleepy. So, I slowly tilted to the left, and placed my head on Seth's shoulder.
