HARRY'S POV
To say there was tension in the air was an understatement. Louis was still angry at Liam for causing an argument which led to him not rooming with Harry. He was angry at Zayn for rooming with Harry. Zayn and Liam had whatever they had going on and Niall was extremely angry at the fridge for not fitting all of his food. So Harry was acting as the mediator. Running to separate Liam and Zayn when they were alone in a room, at each other's throats. Wiping Niall's tears when he cried that his gummy worms melted in the sun and trying to make Louis laugh so he didn't kill Liam and Zayn before they killed each other.
"I was planning to prank you!"Louis admitted, pouting slightly. Harry and Louis were sitting on the front steps on the porch of the house. The five of them had tried going to pick wild strawberries in the run down gardens behind the house but it had turned into a food fight making it look like they had all got their periods and had just survived a war. A wild combination for almost adult boys.
"You know when you'd be asleep I'd put whipped cream on your face and honey on your sheets, parent trap style" Lou explained. "I'm honoured that you had a whole prank war planned out but you could've just done this when we'd be back in school," Harry laughed. He had felt a little sad that pranking him was the only reason Louis was so intent on sharing a room with him but at least he wanted to share with him. Harry wasn't going to complain.
"You know!"Harry said suddenly. "We could prank Zayn and Liam. It might help them talk to each other again, and you might be able to get rid of your ever needing desire to prank someone."
"The only ever needing desire I have is you," Louis joked, his eyes twinkling. Harry composed himself and pretended the statement didn't affect him at all and said, "C'mon Lou! It'll be fun! I can help you too!" "I know other ways you can help me" Louis suggested wiggling his eyebrows and bursting out into laughter. "Yeah, I'm in! We can ask Niall to help us too! He'd surely have some creative ideas!"
And so Harry had to pretend his heart wasn't a balloon when Louis said that. Sure he loved Nialler, but he really wanted some alone time with Louis, he had it all planned out in his head in the split second he had gotten that idea. The two of them giggling in the dusty attic, so close to each other,wondering if Liam and Zayn would fall into their trap. Spending hours brainstorming but ending up talking or kissing or kissing and talking. Either way, that dream was shattered now. All Harry wanted was a little alone time for the both of them...didn't Louis want that too?
LOUIS' POV
Louis didn't know why but he wanted to spend some time alone with Harry. But maybe Harry would think he was being too clingy so he involved Niall into their plans. And that's how the three of them ended up in a bamboo shed behind the house, discussing their plans.
"Maybe we could tell them we found an alien and tied him up and stuffed him in the shed for an interrogation and then when they're inside we can lock them in and let them discuss it all out?"Niall suggested. "That plan sucks!" Louis declared.
