"What do you mean I have to sit there?" Twisting to face my friends who were settled in their seats, I growl.
"That the seats are reserved Lauren. You're seat is there... next to that hot guy wearing black hoodie...That window seat is yours. Now quickly go and sit there before the flight takes off." Ashley told me, whilst pointing her fingers towards the boy,who already had his eyes pierced on me."No you go there." I retorted stubbornly.
"Ma'am the flight is about to take off. Please settle down in your seat." The flight attendant requested in the most polite way possible.
"Yeah,okay... you guys are going to pay for this." I turn around reach my allotted seat after whisper yelping at my friends.
"Excuse me? Would you mind shifting your legs a little bit? I have to get in." I asked the stranger.
"No. Find your way in, on your own. I'm not moving."
He cocked his head up at me and smirked.
"What?" Is he serious right now?
"But I can't get in if you don't-
"
"Ma'am please settle down." the hostess interrupted me again, I grumbled."Don't overthink. You know how to get there." The stranger said, holding back a laugh.
I took a breath, leaping forward, lift one leg across the stranger's lap. Time froze for a fraction of second.
If anyone would have seen us at this moment they would've thought that I was strangling the guy, but fortunately no one did.
He smirked at me and,I briskly jump off of his lap,to the side, finally reaching my seat.
I hastily tried to buckle my seatbelt, but failed miserably.
He laughed next to me, reaching for my seatbelt he said "Here, Let me do it."
"No. Thank you. I can handle myself." I narrowed my eyes at him as he chuckled."Passengers please fasten your seat belts." the air-hostess announced.
"Look princess, either you let me do it or I can call her and tell her that you don't know how to fasten a seatbelt. The latter would be humiliating for sure." I gaped at him, wide eyed. This is the first time I'm travelling by an airplane and I don't know how to buckle this belt, if he does call her than that would really be embarrassing..
"Um.. okay you do it." I looked up at him. His green eyes stared right into mine.
A shiver ran through my body at the intensity of his gaze, yet I kept my eyes fixated on his face. He licked his pink, pulpy lips with his tongue, wetting them, buckling my seatbelt promptly, never breaking eye contact he seized me through his intense gaze, making my blood rush to my cheeks, burning them. His hand lingered on my belly button for sometime as he kept staring deep into my eyes as if to find something he had lost ages ago.
The plane takes off, shaking me through the core. Anxiety gets the better of me, as I interlock my hand around his strong forearm resting on the console, digging my nails in the fabric of his hoodie, shivering violently
He gently presses his fingers under my chin, compelling me to look at his eyes.
"What's your name, princess?" dragging his forefinger along my jaw then back to my chin, while rubbing his thumb in circles muddying my thoughts, he murdered through his wet lips. I lose focus of our surrounding, forgetting how to inhale.
"Lauren."
"Lauren. I'm Justin.... Justin Foley. I don't want you to part away from me just now, but I have to tell you... We're on air now and you are safe... Look out of the window." pointing at the window he gestures me to glance there. When I turn, the most magnificent site I could've ever seen in my life is displayed in front of my eyes... The sun rose above from the purest white colored clouds, shining in its glory, the immense beauty of nature captivated leaving me mesmerized and spellbound.
"Wow...It's beautiful..." uttering in my ecstatic state of mind I turn my head back to the strange.
Well, not a stranger anymore.
My head bumps with his, the abrupt turn, collided us.
"Ouch."
"Ow." both stuttered in unison.
While rubbing my head with my free hand I realised, now our hands are entwined, his long fingers covering the back of my hand. He doesn't seem to mind it, so I allowed my hand to take shelter in his, for a while.
"I'm so sorry. I'm just a little clumsy." He stifled his laugh, looking down at me.
"That, I believe you are. But I like clumsy. It's my type... because it would allow me to
Catch you, every time you would fall." He winks at me, and suddenly the plane jerks hard, shaking us with vigorous force, the truculence peaking at a high level.
Without thinking of my actions.
I close my eyes, lean forward and smashed my lips to his. He jolts in surprise, but quickly recovers, kissing me back, he gently brushes his soft lips against mine. My stomach aches with the eruption of thousands of butterflies when he dragged his finger under my jawline to the back of my neck, pulling me closer to his mouth. Ever so slightly he bites my lower lip between his teeth, i involuntarily part my mouth, allowing his warm tongue to slide in my mouth blending his minty breath with mine. My hand travels to the collar of his hood fisting the fabric I tug him closer, his now free hand drag from my stomach to my waist, tightening. This kiss, is the most blissful experience I ever had in my entire life.
An abrupt jolt of the plane startles us, impelling us to separate.
He looks deep into my eyes.
"Nice to meet you Lauren."
His smirk lit up the whole world...
