FMA Oneshots - ed x reader

Ed x Reader - Bruises

i speed walk through the hospital looking for the room number, when finally find it i burst open the door to see a beaten down ed with broken automail, which, i had fixed just a few days ago 

"oh my god" ed looks at me like he just stole the last cookie from the jar and turns away to avoid eye contact, i put down my bag and start to pull out supplies, automail parts, tools, bandages, etc,  i walk over to Eds bed and was about to say something when the door opens and both our heads turn in the direction 

"i heard you were in the hospital and i came to visit!!"   "hi hues" ed replies back  the man ed called hues looks at me and his eyes are literally start sparkling "is she your girlfriend!?"                   i freeze and my face goes red, while ed bounces of the bed and falls onto the floor, his face also looking like a tomato  

"No! she's my mechanic and medic!!"  i nod in agreement  "oh so you suduced your mechanic?"  "What?!?"  we both yell but hues just ignores it  "i guess ill leave you two alone, get better fullmetal and i hope to see you soon"  

a couple minutes later i finish putting together his arm as well as i can and before that i had tended his major injuries, "ill try not to break it next time" i frown at this comment 

"No Ed, your supposed to tell me you'll try not to get hurt!" 

theres a long silence in the room until you speak again "i'm just worried ok"   "i'm sorry y/n, i really am, but we both know that i cant stay away from fights and getting hurt, its part of my job"  "i know, just try to be safe, ok?"     "yes ma'am!" ed replies enthusiastically i smile at him and grab my stuff to put it in my bag 

"hey y/n?"  "yes?"   "can you check this bruise again it really stings?" ed says while pointing to the bruise on his neck  "sure"  

i walk over and poke his bruise gently making him flinch  "do you want some pain releif medicine?" i ask and turn my head towards him, we lock eyes and then suddenly pulls me towards him and he hugs me 

we just sit there staring at each other until i can feel him getting closer to my face, i don't pull away though, why would i? were centimetres apart now, lips almost touching and 

"Brother!! Good news-" Al stands at the door looking confused at whats happening right infront of him      "SORRY FOR INTURUPTING, I'LL GET OUT!" 

Al runs out of the room, Ed jumps up and chases after his brother while yelling at him                        i get off the bed and grab my things, still trying to process what just happened "well theres no use being confused about it, that wont help" you say to yourself as you grab your bag and shut the door behind you "ill just act like that didn't happen or else i may end up fainting" you chuckle to yourself  "i know ill see him again, so goodbye for now ed" you smile as you make your way towards the hospital exit. 

WELP  i'm so sorry that you got interrupted, but maybe in a future one shot you wont be             *wink wink*
