FMA Oneshots - ed x reader

Ed x Reader - Nice Catch!

They're catching up to me!' y/n thought as she stumbled through the dark hallway  'think y/n think!!' she turned the corner to see gluttony waiting for her at the end of the next hallway, feet still closing in behind her  'i'm no doctor but i know i'm in no shape to keep running' she thought, then an idea hit her, she clapped her hands and pulled a axe from the ground, blue light surrounding her as she does it, y/n smashes the axe through the wall creating a hole big enough for her to jump through 

she looks down but knows already that it's a far fall 'i'm going to have to trust myself'  y/n's voice echos throughout the hallways and outside as she screams "Catch!!" 

she pushes herself off into the air, her h/c (hair color) hair blowing wildly in the wind she sees that she's nearing the ground and hopes for the best but knows the chances of surviving this is low, her eyes closing as she feels her breaths getting harder and faster. 

~ Someones POV~ 

as i'm searching a familiar voices reaches me "Catch!" she yells, "she wouldn't -"  "oh i think she did brother, look!" i see a figure falling from the tall building "Damnit y/n!!" 

i leave Al in the dust as i sprint towards her, y/n's getting dangerously close to the ground when i'm close enough without even questioning it i jump into the air and grab y/n, pulling her close and trying to break the fall. 

as we roll to a stop i can hear her heavy breathing and see that her leg is badly injured, a small "thank you, ed"  can be heard by him and while trying to get up she fails and falls over  "your injured and probably dizzy, let me help"      "......fine" . 

~ y/n's POV ~

i think for a second until i answer "fine", ed then stands up, slips off his jacket and puts it on me   then he kneels down and picks me up, after a long silent walk ed says something   

"you could've died"   "i know, i'm sorry"   he looks at me, the only expression my face held was guilt,  "promise you wont do it again" i look up and see that he looked serious "ok" i answer 

the rest of the walk wasn't long or awkward and i felt myself drifting off to sleep as i hear Al in the distance saying something.  

~ Eds POV ~ 

i can feel her body go limp but know that she's ok as little breaths come in and out 'she's so beautiful and looks so peaceful' i thought to myself  "hey brother"  "hows y/n?" al asks  "she needs rest so lets go home"    "ok!" 

i look down at her peaceful looking face 'i don't know what i would've done if you had died'   'i'm glad your ok y/n, sleep well' .
