"Its been a week a week and you two still arent talking?" Jade groaned, watching Hope walk by them both with not even a glance.

"Its her fault, she called our kiss a mistake! A mistake, can you believe that?"

"Yeah, I can believe that shes Hope Mikaelson"

Josie looked up from her food. "Why'd you say it like that? Do you know something about her family?!"

"Just that her dad was a serial killer, you have the worst type and I've only known you for a month"

"Shes nothing like her father" Jo frowned.

"You sure about that? Heard she gutted someone out back"

"What?!"

"Mhm, Sheriff reported it on the radio. Apparently she was stalking the poor girl"

"Reported--Theres no wa--Really?"

"Rachel and her big mouth heard it, probably why everyones staring at that tiny thing"

Jo looked over at Hope, the auburnette was throwing mean looks at everyone who she saw staring. There was no way she really killed someone on school grounds, right? She would've told Josie.

"What the hell, Hope" Ethan hissed, looking between his sister and the auburnette. "What do you want?" She groaned, picking at her food that looked not at all edible.

"Have you not heard the rumour?"

She looked up at him, shaking her head. "People are saying you killed Jake the stoner"

"Jake? The stoner. Whos Jake?"

"The stoner" Maya added. "I dont remember killing a Jake" Hope frowned, looking back down at her food. "What did he look like?"

"Hope" Ethan hissed in a more quiet tone "Whats did he look like? Really, this is no time for games"

"I dont play games, I'm serious what does he look like?"

"Beanie, probably smoking weed or some shit. Red eyes?" Maya explained, looking at the auburnette as if she was crazy. "Oh, him! Yeah, I remember him"

"Look, we can help you. Our moms the Sheriff"

"Who reported you" Maya added, looking at her twin as if he was stupid. "But we can help you"

"I dont want your help, especially not from you" She gave Maya a death stare "I can handle myself and I have for years now"

"Atleast ask Josie" Ethan looked over to the pair sitting at the other side of the Cafeteria, Jo was already staring at them but she turned away upon making eye contact with the athlete. "No, leave Jo out of it" She demanded "This isnt her problem"

"Are you guys still fighting? I'm tired of this, its childish" Maya growled. "Arent you suppose to be in love with her or something"

"No, I dont love her and thats why we're not talking"

"Oh re-"

"Stay out of it Maya" Ethan whispered to the girl, not knowing Hope could hear him. But she did and could careless. "Thanks for the hospitality but I have class, and tell your friends if they keep staring they'll be my next victim"

"You cant threaten people like that!" Ethan yelled after the girl who just stuck her middle finger up. "Shes such an asshole, I'll nevef understand what you saw in her"

"What do you mean? We're friends"

"Didnt you two have sex in a closet?"

"No? I always seen her as a friend"
