Sergio smiled waking up, he was hopeful that today would be better than yesterday and he only had a short session with Leslie to do before he could spend time with Morgan; he didn’t know what he would have done without her.
Slowly reaching out for his fiancée, Sergio frowned when his hand hit the cold side of the bed; he opened his brown eyes and stared at the space where Morgan should be.
Sitting up Sergio wondered where his fiancée was, it was too early to be out of bed and he knew how Morgan liked her sleep; he wondered where she had gone, she had been off with him and he wanted to make sure that everything was okay.
Sergio ran his fingers through his hair, looking around trying to find some sort of clue as to where Morgan could be; the house was silent and he knew that it was much too early for her to have gone shopping.
The note that Morgan had left on the bedside table caught Sergio’s eye, he frowned reaching over; this wasn’t like the woman that he had loved at all and he wished that she would have woken him if she was going out, it was barely seven in the morning.
Sergio lifted the note carefully before noticing that next to it was Morgan’s engagement ring, he stared for a moment knowing that she had adored the ring and had never taken it off; it made his stomach turn at what could be possibly be happening.
Opening the note that Morgan had left for him, Sergio started to read as it dawned on him that Morgan had left him; tears slowly started to make their way down Sergio’s face as he started to cry.
There was nothing that he could do and he feared why Morgan had left him, he had been so sure that they were happy especially when they had only just started to think about having a baby of their own.
Sergio didn’t want to believe the rumours that surrounded his fiancée, he didn’t think that she was a gold-digger and he wanted Morgan to come home.

“I knew that woman couldn’t be trusted,” Paqui snarled under her breath as she walked downstairs, her hands clutching the note that Morgan had left for her son; she couldn’t believe that the brunette had ended things like that.
Paqui had come to visit her son and she was no glad that she had after the stunt that Morgan had pulled; she couldn’t imagine what Sergio would have been like if she was still in Seville and it scared her the way he was acting.
Sergio had been despondent all morning and Paqui was furious at the fact that this had happened; she might not have liked Morgan but the woman had made Sergio happy and now that was gone.
Paqui had tried all morning to get her son out of bed, he had to carry on with his rehabilitation since he was still recovering; however nothing she seemed to do could get him out of bed and it scared her.
Paqui gritted her teeth, she should have known that Morgan would have cut and run when things got tough; the brunette had only been interested in Sergio’s money and fame, she wished that she had pushed harder when her son had first gotten engaged.
“If I ever see that woman again,” Paqui snapped shaking her head, she had no idea how Morgan thought that she could get away with what she had done; she hated women like Morgan and she wasn’t going to forgive and forget what happened.
It was clear that Sergio was devastated that Morgan had left, he would one day get over what Morgan had done to him but it would take time since he had thought he would spend the rest of his life with the brunette.
Paqui wanted nothing more than for her son to be happy, she wanted him to have the right woman in his life and she would do everything in her power to make sure that no woman like Morgan would get close to her son again.
Paqui paused when she heard the front door opening, they weren’t expecting anyone today and she had no idea who else had a key to the house; she turned to look the front door just as Leslie stepped inside.
Leslie flicked through some notes that she had brought with her for Sergio’s session, she was sure that she would have him back playing football before much longer; she moved further into the house when she spotted Paqui glaring at her.
“Buenos días,” Leslie greeted with a smile, she hadn’t known that Sergio’s mother would be visiting and she guessed that someone forgot to tell her; she could already imagine that Morgan had gone shopping or something.
Paqui glared at Leslie, she couldn’t believe that the brunette had shown up in her son’s home after what her sister had done; she walked toward Leslie with every intention of giving the woman a piece of her mind.
“Is there a problem?” Leslie asked noticing how angry Paqui looked, she guessed that Morgan had gone and done something stupid again; she felt bad for Sergio when he married her sister.
Paqui scoffed, she had no doubt that Leslie knew what had happened and she was disgusted that anyone could do that to someone that they claimed to love; she would kill Morgan when she got her hands on her.
“Why don’t you tell me?” Paqui hissed handing the letter that Morgan had left to Leslie, she stared at the brunette who looked so confused that Paqui almost felt bad for taking her anger out on her for what her sister had done.
Leslie looked at Paqui for a moment before she looked down at the note, she read through it and cursed wondering what on earth Morgan had been thinking; her entire career was on the line right now.
“I swear… I had no idea about this,” Leslie said shaking her head, she looked at Paqui while she tried to think where her dear sister could be; she was going to kill Morgan when she found her.
Paqui scoffed not believing Leslie, she didn’t want to focus on either of the sisters right now when her son was grieving over his broken heart; she had to think about him instead of the woman that had hurt him so badly.
Leslie sighed trying to work out where Morgan would have gone, she could only think of one place and that was back to her apartment; she hadn’t stepped into the spare room in months and she had no reason to go in there.
“Are you going to leave as well?” Paqui spat knowing that she wanted no reminders to hurt Sergio, he had been through enough with his injury and now Morgan leaving him; she was going to ensure that her son was looked after properly no matter what.
Leslie looked at Paqui, she wished that the woman wouldn’t take all of this out on her; she had done nothing but her job since she had arrived and it wasn’t as if she had encouraged Sergio to date her deceitful sister.
“I’m leaving… but I am coming back,” Leslie promised staring at Paqui, she was going to give Morgan an earful and she wasn’t going to let her get away with this; she had claimed to love Sergio when it was clear she only loved his bank account.
Turning around Leslie walked out of the house to head back to her apartment, she would bet her pay check that Morgan was there and she could just imagine how smug her sister was; however there was no way in hell that Leslie was going to let her stay.
Paqui pursed her lips watching Leslie walk away, she didn’t know what to think right now but she was going to focus on her son; she wasn’t going to let anyone hurt him again.
