Sergio took a nervous breath as he pulled up outside of the training ground, he was a little disappointed that he had missed out on the world cup but he knew it had been important that he recover.

Sergio couldn't believe that it had been nine months since he had been injured and he was finally taking steps to start playing for his club again; he was so thankful to Leslie for what she had done for him.

Sergio had no idea what he would have ever done if she hadn't been there for him, she had helped him recover not only from his injury but from what Morgan had done to him.

Leslie had been there when he had pushed everyone away, she hadn't left him alone instead she fought until she broke through his shell and made him see that he was so much better off without her younger sister.

Sergio sat in his car for a moment taking in what was going on, he was actually going to be training again with his team-mates; he was surprised about how much had changed since he had last seen them.

It had been before Morgan had broken things off, Sergio was slowly starting to hate the woman that had broken his heart; she wasn't worth it and he knew that he was so much better off without her.

Sergio sat in his car for a moment more before he moved to climb out of it, he looked around seeing several cars already parked outside; he couldn't believe that he was actually back at the club that he loved.

Sergio picked up his bag before he headed for the locker room, there was no point in putting it off when he knew what was waiting for him inside; he was looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Sergio just hoped that he would get to see Leslie today, she was meant to be here and he knew that she would be slowly signing off to return to her normal job.

"It's great to have you back Sese," Iker greeted pulling his best friend into a hug, he had missed him and had been so worried after hearing from Paqui what had happened with Morgan; he had never liked the woman that had ensnared his friend.

Sergio was a wonderful man and would find the right woman one day; Iker didn't know what it was but there had been something about Morgan that had never sat right with him.

"It's good to be back," Sergio replied patting Iker on the back, he pulled back from his friend and smiled at him; he knew everyone was worried about him especially when he had broken down.

Sergio had pushed everyone away when Morgan had left him, he hadn't wanted to do anything and now he hated that he had done that; if it wasn't for Leslie then he would still be there sulking.

"Welcome back Sese," Cristiano called walking past Sergio, he was pleased to see the defender back at training; it had been ages since Sergio had injured himself playing against Chile.

Sergio nodded at him and smiled, it wasn't as awkward as he had thought it had been; he had been worried they would all treat him differently but they had yet to do anything to say that things had changed.

"Are you good?" Iker asked softly, he didn't want to worry anyone in case he was wrong; he didn't want Sergio to break again after what had happened.

Iker worried for his best friend, he hated that Sergio had fallen for a gold-digger that had used him; he'd had his heart broken and it didn't seem like he would move on from that.

"I'm doing a lot better," Sergio replied turning to see Leslie arriving, she was talking with the team doctors and he was pleased to see her.

Iker spotted the look on his friend's face and followed his gaze, he frowned as he realised that Sergio was grinning at Morgan's older sister; he didn't know what to make of this but he didn't want Sergio hurt again.

Leslie took a deep breath as she suppressed the squeal was building inside of her, she actually couldn't believe that she was actually standing in Ciudad Real Madrid; she had always dreamt of seeing how things were behind the scenes.

Leslie smiled to herself walking back to her car, she had watched Sergio train with his team-mates and he had looked good; not that he didn't usually but she had never seen him so focused.

Leslie was a little disappointed that her time with Sergio was running down, she had spoken with the team medics and at the end of August if things went well then she would sign Sergio over to them and go back to the hospital.

Leslie had always known that day would come but she couldn't believe that it was coming so soon, she had gotten so used to seeing Sergio and now she would have to tell him goodbye.

Leslie wasn't sure where she stood with the footballer, they had shared a passionate kiss but it had quickly seemed forgotten as they focused on his recovery; she was dreading saying goodbye if things didn't change.

"Leslie," Sergio called making her jump, Leslie hadn't been expecting him to finish showering up so quickly and she turned to smile at him; she shifted nervously spotting that Sergio wasn't alone but with his close friend Iker.

Sergio hurried towards his friend, he was happy to catch Leslie before she went home and he knew that they didn't have much longer together and he wanted to make the most of it.

Iker followed after Sergio quietly, he didn't know why his friend was suddenly so attached to Leslie but he hoped that he hadn't fallen into another trap; Morgan had used him and there was a chance that Leslie would do the same.

"Hola," Leslie greeted spotting the look on Iker's face, she had a feeling that he was going to judge her on what had happened with Morgan; she wasn't anything like her brat of a sister but she didn't blame him.

Sergio grinned stopping in front of Leslie, he honestly didn't know what he would ever do without her and he hoped that he never had to find out; she was a big part of his life now.

"Iker, this is Leslie," Sergio said introducing his best friend to the brunette, he hoped that they would get along since he wanted Leslie to stick around and Iker was his best friend.

Sergio had no idea what he was ever going to do if he lost Leslie, he didn't want to let her go but he knew that things wouldn't be easy when the season kicked off and she went back to working at the hospital.

"It's nice to meet you," Leslie said carefully, she didn't want to cause a fight and she could see that Iker wasn't fond of her and she had expected it; Morgan had done a lot of damage and people would think that she was the same.

Iker just nodded his head at Leslie, he wasn't sure what to make of her but he hoped that Sergio wasn't going to do something stupid; he had only just got back to normal.

"What are you doing tonight?" Sergio asked not noticing the look on Iker's face, he wanted to know if he could see Leslie and he hoped that she didn't have anything planned.

Iker eyed his friend as he watched the two conversing, he had no idea what it was but he hadn't seen Sergio like this not even when he had been with Morgan.

"I don't have any plans," Leslie replied feeling a little giddy, she hated that she was feeling like this about Sergio; she wasn't sure what was happening between them anymore.
