Hogsmeade weekend finally came. Marcus Flint was excited to say the least, he awoke pretty early and prepared his outfit for the day. After countless try-ons he decided to go with a simple black jacket, a green turtle neck, and some black jeans, all followed by some black boots. Marcus couldn't help but feel nervous, it was just him and Oliver, its not like they were friends. He wanted to back out but of course he wouldn't, he had been wanting Oliver all to himself.

Marcus walked through Hogsmeade, looking for Oliver. Had he stood him up? He spotted the boy, Oliver was wearing a white long sleeved button up with a red knitted vest over it, alongside some jeans and his black converse shoes. Marcus sighed to himself, Oliver looked so good. He walked towards Oliver and lightly tapped his shoulder.

"Hey," Marcus said to the Gryffindor as he began to turn around.

"Oh, hey Marcus!" Oliver greeted Marcus with a smile(oh god, Marcus could melt!) "Where do you want to go first?"

"Well uh actually I am not sure.. since it was my idea I was thinking you would choose first" Marcus scratched his back, he was indeed very nervous. Its not that he didn't want to be here or that Oliver made him uncomfortable, it was more of he really wanted Oliver to like him. Marcus didn't want to scare Oliver away and never speak to him again, he wanted to be closer to him, to embrace him in a different way and most importantly, he was nervous that he would lose his cool and confess his feelings for Oliver. Feelings? Gosh, what was he thinking.

"Alright then, how about Honeydukes?" Oliver awaited for the other boy's response.

"Yeah, that's alright with me" They headed over to Honeydukes, a bit too close for Marcus' comfort. What if Oliver heard his heartbeat? His stupid heart was beating fast and incredibly loud for his own good, it was pounding. He could feel it expand, was Oliver going to be the cause of his death?

As they continued to walk, Oliver's arm brushed against Marcus's multiple times that by the time they arrives, Marcus was heavily blushing. He calmed himself down once they entered the store. They browsed through the store, looking for sweets to buy.

"Do you think these are good?" Marcus held up a candy he hadn't tried before, turning to his side to look at Oliver, only Oliver wasn't there. Marcus skimmed the room and found Oliver smiling as he held up a lot of candy. Gosh did he look adorable. A smile began to form on Marcus's face. He stood watching Oliver until the other boy noticed and made his way back to Marcus, not before giving him a huge grin.

"Are you ready?" Oliver asked

"Yup, are you?" Oliver nodded, the two Quidditch players checking out soon after. "Where to next?" was Oliver's next question.

"Let's hang out at three broomsticks for a while"

"Okay"

Marcus watched as Oliver ate, he looked so beautiful. He had the urge to kiss Oliver right then and there but he came back to his senses. He too began to eat so he could focus on something else other than Oliver. He caught Oliver looking at him.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" Marcus let out a small chuckle.

Yeah, beauty. Oliver wanted to say but he didn't.

"No, sorry" Once they were done eating, they began to talk about a lot of things but most importantly, they had fun.

Time went by and the two had to say goodbye. They had spent hours talking to each other that time seemed to fly and quickly. Oliver sighed "I had a good time" he said.

Marcus looked up at Oliver with a smile, "I did too" His heart fluttered to say the least.
