Marcus sighed loudly as he stared at the ceiling, pensive. His thoughts were without a doubt, filled with the beauty named Oliver Wood. He smiled as he thought about the time they spent and how much Marcus had enjoyed it.

Oliver Wood

Oliver Wood

Oliver Wood

Oliver Wood's smile came into his head. Darn it, he thought, holding his head with his hands and slapping himself. He was being consumed by that beautiful smile that belonged to the Gryffindor keeper. Marcus slid under his blanket cover, and kicked it around, had he been alone, he would've definitely let out a scream.

The memories from earlier that day dominated his dreams. "Marcus! Marcus wake up!" he opened his eyes to find his roommates yelling for him to wake up, Marcus hit them with his pillow.

Marcus sat there in potions class staring at Oliver Wood. Why couldn't he keep his eyes off of him? With a frustrated sigh, Marcus went on to doodle into his notebook. Oliver Wood with hearts all over the boy's name was written all over the Slytherin's notebook. He sat and daydreamed until he was interrupted by the class dismissal. Marcus grabbed his stuff and headed out, bumping into Oliver Wood as if his body knew.

"Hey" Oliver spoke first, helping Marcus with his stuff.

"Hey" Marcus said back, grabbing his notebook and gripping it tightly.

"Do you want to meet up at the library?"

At the library? What did Oliver want to do with him at the library? Was he going to confess? "Uh, why?" Marcus questioned with a confused look on his face.

"We're partners, didn't you pay attention?"

"W-what?! Of course I did," Marcus and Oliver partners? He was ecstatic to say the least but also very nervous. "I just forgot since you're that irrelevant" Fuck. Why did he say that? No, no, Marcus wished he could take it back.

Oliver's smile shrunk and he shrugged, "Whatever, let's meet at 5" and with that, he walked away. Marcus hit himself, he messed up.

Marcus walked into the library, scanning the room for sight of Oliver. He walked towards the table Oliver was sitting at. "Hey" Oliver smiled at Marcus once he noticed his presence.

"Hey, uh, I'm sorry for what I said earlier" Marcus sheepishly said, scratching his neck, Oliver just smiled at him. Marcus took that as an acceptance and sat in front of Oliver.

The two boys reached to get the book on the table, brushing hands very slightly. Marcus blushed, "You can go ahead and read first" he said, clearing his throat. "Alright" Oliver began to read, Marcus looked at Oliver's face and dozed off a bit.

They managed to complete a portion of the assignment without trouble, but it was late out so they had to head back to their dorms. "See you tomorrow, Flint" Oliver said as he packed his things. Marcus nodded, "Yeah, goodnight, Wood" Marcus was the first to leave.

Oliver stayed behind and watched as Marcus left, sighing.
