Dreams POV

I thought I would've moved on from it by now. I mean it's been years since I've seen  George so I couldn't think much into it, that is until Sapnap and Karl got engaged.

My high school crush was getting married to my brother. I know it's pretty fucked up to like your brothers fiancé but I've liked him way before he even thought about liking her. He was mine first, and just like everything he took her.

I was too scared to tell her so I did the second best thing- I told my best friend. At this point mine and George's friendship was a bit rocky but not a single day went by were I didn't consider him the number 1 person in my life (after Sap of course)

But I guess for George our friendship was beyond repair. All that mattered to him was winning.

Yeah I liked to compete with George and make him feel shit about his grades but I was young and clearly a dick, so from all of the pain I gave him he got his ultimate payback.

The day I finally confessed to him that I liked Karl, he decided to set him and Sapnap up on a date.

He did it out of spite to make me hurt- and he got me good. Ever since then our friendship was nonexistent and we wanted to practically kill eachother. No one knows the real reason except us which is good.

"Can you pass me the salt?"

I looked between George and the salt debating whether to pass it to him or ignore her. I ended up giving it to him when I realised I'm 24 and can't be acting like a 7.

Everyone was asking about George's life in Brighton, but I was the only one who actually knew that it was never his dream to move to Brighton, he was just running away from his problems.

George was the maid of honour and I was the best man so we were gonna spend more time together than intended- lucky me.
[listen to me right now idgaf if maid of honour is traditionally a girl, wouldn't work for the story okay.]

Everyone was reminiscing the night of Wilburs 18th birthday laughing at the memory. Everyone except me and George since that was the night of our first argument.

"Yh that brings good memories." I snickered glancing at George to see the hurt in his eyes, it made me feel good.

I guess I wasn't over it, and although I was 24- I wanted payback.
