My whole body felt heavy like it was weighed down like gravity was trying to keep me down on purpose. I could tell I was lying on my side almost as if I went to sleep right here. Gentle music was playing in the back ground. It sounded as if someone was creating a song because suddenly it would stop and then pick back up as if someone was writing down the music right then and there.

Finally opening my eyes I looked around letting my eyes adjust to the light. I slowly registered where I was and sat up quickly. The beautiful crimson and black Satin sheets felt like angel feathers against my skin. The dark mahogany bed frame with a swan as the head board was more outstandingly intricate than anything I had ever seen before. I swung my legs around and pulled the rope next to me and the canopy slowly opened to reveal a cave like structure. I slid off the bed and turned to go through a small pathway and the closer I got the louder the music became. I entered upon a large lair to see beautiful candelabras surrounding the area and tables filled with wigs. I saw a mote with murky looking water in it then saw a crap load of stacks upon stacks of music sheets cluttered around. Right in the middle of it all was a gorgeous piano and sitting and playing it was a man dressed in black slacks and a white dress shirt. He was facing away from me so I was unable to see his face from my angle.

I hesitantly moved closer and knocked an unlit candle over. I froze mid step and snapped my head to look at him. His body whipped around oh my gird that looked painful; his back made a popping noise and I winced. We stared at each other for a moment and I saw the white porcelain mask covering the right side of his face and gave him a sheepish grin and picked up the candle to put it back in its place. I glanced back at him and he sat their unmoving looking utterly surprised at me.

"Sorry, that was an accident." I told him putting my hands behind my back and swaying my hips side to side with my head down. He cleared his throat with a cough and I lifted my gaze back to him and this time he was glaring at me full on. I whimpered cowering back. He stood up and walked towards me with confident strides before coming to a stop in front of me. He brought my face up to look up into his eyes. His gaze fell like he was trying to see right into my soul, like he wanted to know every thought I ever had.

"How did you get here?" He said in a cold yet alluring voice making me want to melt right in his arms but the icy tone kept me from that. I gulped down the lump that had formed in my throat and stared straight into his eyes mustering up every ounce of courage I had and only answered with a meek,

"I don't know" His glare deepened and his grip on me tightened.

"Don't lie to me girl, I don't have time for that. How did you get into my lair?" He demanded with his eyes willing me to tell him the truth and I did just that, I told him the truth.

"I don't know sir. I woke up in the bed in the other room. The last thing I remember is falling down the stairs at home and then I was waking up in your bed. Please, it's the honest truth." I told him scared out of my wits from him and he could tell. A contemplating look passed his face before he accepted my story. He sat back down on the piano chair and gestured for me to sit next to him. I walked over to him and sat on the edge of the chair the farthest I could get away from him. He chuckled
