The sun had yet to have risen but that didn't stop the blue hair girl from training early. From what she knew she was up since three in the morning, she had started in the dojo working with blades but got bored and made her way to the gym. Training till her body gave out. Nino would say this was a bad idea but that didn't stop the girl, she had to be the best not second place to her stepbrother Nino. They always thought of themselves as equals but they knew that wouldn't happen till they were on the same level. That was why Marinette would not stop till they really were equals.

Marinette was working with her favorite katana when she heard a noise to find Nino standing in the doorway to the gym. "Isn't it a little early for training?" he asked sleepily. "I've been up since three sleepy head, go change I need a sparring partner," she said standing with a hand on a hip. "Fine" he muttered turning for the hallway.

Marinette had been boxing when she heard footsteps, not one set but multiple. "What took you so long, I thought you weren't coming," she said hitting the bag once again. "Sorry I was on my way down but I got stopped and interrogated for answers," he said with a light chuckle. "So let me guess we have an audience who want to learn how to box," she said with a smirk.
"Yep they want to learn from the best, which happens to be you," Nino said watching her take off her boxing gloves. "And give away all my tricks no thanks, but you could teach them and I can go against you for one round." He was surprised, to say the least. "What's the catch you don't just help and your never this nice" she nodded and looked back grinning "you're making me breakfast if I win if not I'll make your favorite" he looked at her to make sure she was serious and she seemed to be. "Fine I'll make you regret this though," he said she nodded to the statement. "You're going down D.J"
