King George V sat in his office. It was quite rare for a kansen to be male, but he was one of the few that did exist. His name was allthe more fitting. He felt that it was an honor to be named for a King. Especially one whom had won the last major war. Even if they were not of the same class, he thought that he was a fitting counterpart to Queen Elizabeth. Though, for a multitude of reasons, this could never quite be the case. Still, he was not defeated by those notions. To his knowledge, he was the highest ranking male ship in the Azur Lane.

He had just received a telegram. Köln had sent him a report on the new Commander's first training session. It had been a resounding success. Every order had been given by the commander and followed perfectly. He sent his reply through the communicator, "Excellent. Tell the commander he will receive an additional vessel. An R class battlecruiser. She is being escorted by a fresh recruit, a member of the Northhampton Class. - King George V."

It's good to see that this new project is successful. MacLean was a bit of a risk, but he still has much more to prove. I hope this was the right decision, King George V thought.

He was interrupted from his thoughts by a knock on the door. Before he could react, the knocking became more frantic. "Come in," he said loudly.

Comet threw the door open, but she didn't slam it shut behind her like something or someone was chasing her. But, Comet did seem panicked. "Sir, sir," she cried out.

"Calm down Comet," King George V said and raised an eyebrow. "And close the door please."

Comet closed the door, but she still seemed uneasy.

"Now, what's the matter?" The Battleship inquired of the Destroyer.

Comet quickly did her best to explain what York and Erebus had planned.

King George V looked dismayed. "Go find Belfast and await further orders," he commanded Comet. "I shall see the Queen."

"Yes Sir," Comet said briskly and rushed out of the room to find Belfast.

She hoped everything would turn okay, but she worried about how Crescent, and much higher ranking Kansen, might scold her.
