A few hours had passed since the training. Riley MacLean, Javelin, and Long Island were sitting at a fold-up table next to the three king beds in the large room on their side of the base. They were each reading something. All of it actually related to their occupations, though Long Island thought her purple haired fleetmate may have been trying to impress the commander.

Fortune was still sleeping on the bed. She needed more time to get stronger.

The three awake people in the room heard footsteps coming down the corridor. They each looked down it to see Köln entering the room. "Hello Commander, Javelin, Long Island," she said and looked at each of them.

"What's going on?" Riley asked. He assumed something important was going on that needed urgent attention.

Köln pulled a remote out of her pocket and a door in the side of the cavern opened. "You'll see soon," she reassured him.

A loud grinding sound echoed through the room. Fortune was sleeping so soundly that she  was not even stirred by the tremendous noise. Everyone else who didn't know what was going on looked stunned as a huge door opened over the water behind them.

They looked on as a British Battlecruiser and an American Heavy Cruiser, both without crews, docked at a set of docks below them. Two females walked up the ramp as the ships vanished. One was wearing a white athletic outfit. She had intense green eyes, and two tone hair. The outer half was close to black, and the inner half was a neon blue. Despite the color, the blue hair did not look like it had been dyed. It was somehow completely natural. The other female was paler. She had brown hair with a pony tail. She had a blue skirt and knee length black socks. Her shirt didn't cover too much, but it was of a kind Riley had never seen before. The two reached the top of the stairs. One of them had an air of experience, and the other had an air of inexperience.

Köln introduced the brown haired one as HMS Repulse and the green eyed one as USS Northampton.

Riley wondered what the two would have to offer, but it was late. They all needed sleep. Riley shared his bed with Fortune. There was a wall of pillows between them. Each bed was soon laid out in that same manner. Northampton and Repulse shared a bed, as did Long Island and Javelin. They turned out the lights and went to sleep as Köln returned to her cottage to sleep for the night.
