"Stay back! I have a knife and I'm not afraid to use it!" the woman shouts.

The injured boy with scratches over his body slowly crawls towards the woman. He locks eyes with the wolf, feeling a connection of familiarity race through him.

"Do I know you? You seem familiar." the boy asks the wolf.

Blade jumps off the woman and merely stares at the boy. He shakes his head after, he doesn't know the boy.

The boy frowns. "Oh, you just look like someone I know. Or have met before." he whispers. "I apologize for my mom's behavior. She gets like that whenever someone hurts me. It's just her nature."

"Can my daughter and I take the wolf now?" Aphmau asks when she and Alina take a step forward.

Blade turns around so his back is facing the duo. The three members of one family wait until the woman and her child left. It's then that Blade turns around and shifts back to werewolf form, folding his arms across his chest in an angrily manner.

Aphmau sets her bag down and kicks it towards him. After a few seconds and the females turning around so he could put some clothes on; they turned around only to see Blade giving both of them an angry expression.

"Did you know?" he snaps in a cold voice, snarling when he gets no answer. "Did you know! ANSWER ME!"

His eyes turn a hue of their regular red and Aphmau sighs.

"Know what?" she asks.

"DID YOU KNOW I'M NOT YOUR SON BIOLOGICALLY!" Blade shouts angrily.

Aphmau pales as does Alina. They didn't expect him to find out so soon. They thought he wasn't going to find out until the time is right.

Instead, she can only respond to her adopted son. "H...how did you find out?" she says; her voice just barely above a mere whisper.

Blade sighs. "I got summoned by the Grand Alpha. He had me take this test that somehow proved I was his child. Though, the main question I have now is why?" he says after he inhales sharply, slightly calming down.

"Aaron and I were approached by this couple; your biological parents, Blade. We slowly grow close to them until one day, they asked us to be their surrogate as the female; your mother, was baron. All we wanted was the chance to be parents, so we agreed. Your parents told us we could take care of you after you were born. To keep you hidden from dark people with hatred for them." Aphmau explains.

"I'm so sorry. We should have told you sooner." she adds a second later.

"No. I'm the one who should be sorry. After all, I did yell at you." Blade mumbles. "Even if my wolf is pissed off right now."

"He's is always pissed off." Alina comments. "I for one can't think of a single day where your wolf isn't pissed off."

"I almost forgot to add something to my explanation." Aphmau says.

Blade and Alina both glance at her with confused expressions.

"Both your parents were werewolves. One an Ultima and the other a regular werewolf." she states in an obvious way.

"WHAT?!" the Blood Alpha shouts loudly while his adopted sister merely blinks.

(UNKNOWN CITY — TWO DAYS LATER)

A dark brown haired guy saunters back and forth on the floor of his living room. He can recall the events two days ago when the wolf rammed into his mother's car and attacked him head on.

That wolf. It looks familiar. Like I've seen it before. The guy shakes his head as he stops pacing. This pacing is getting him nowhere, it is instead just making him extremely nervous.
