(BLADE)

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" Harper tells him.

"Okay. See you." he says then decides to take a chance and peck her cheek.

Harper blinks as she watches him walk away from her. She raises a hand to her cheek. Does he like me? Is that why he kissed my cheek?

"Maybe some research will explain why I'm suddenly feeling electricity race through my body as well." she mumbles, noting how when he kissed her cheek; she felt the electricity shock her body.

It feels warm and inviting and surprisingly makes her feel safe. "Ugh." she groans. "Research better provide me a decent explanation! This is all so confusing otherwise."

(AT HER HOUSE)

She enters her house slowly and notices her sister doing homework at the table with their mom nowhere in sight.

Harper frowns. "Where's mom?" she asks.

Robin looks up from her homework and merely shrugs. "Beats me. I've just been here, doing homework. I don't think she actually is in the house." the younger redhead replies.

"I'm going to scoop around. You keep doing your homework." Harper tells her, smiling when her sister gives her a thumbs up as a response.

The Phoenix makes a mad dash up the stairs and shifts into her Phoenix form, flapping her wings as she scoops around their house.

'Mother isn't here. I don't feel her presence anywhere.' her Phoenix says. 'I'm sorry Harper.'

'It's okay. Let's find out where Mom went.' Harper replies.

'Okay. But first are you going to tell that person you were communicating with awhile back?' Harper's Phoenix states.

'Tell him what exactly, Saige?! He doesn't even know I'm a Phoenix!' Harper snaps angrily.

Saige sighs. 'You'll figure it out eventually.' she mumbles. But he does know. I can feel his wolf whenever we're near him. I'm so sorry, Terzo. Our human halves are utterly dense.

(FIVE MINUTES LATER)

Harper flaps her wings, resting on a tree branch as she spots a guy talking to somebody.

"Remind me again, why are we trying to force Blade to shift? You already know he's a werewolf." one guy says, tracing his fingers along his leg as he swivels his wheelchair around.

"Because Marcus! If we can prove to everyone that Blade Lycan is a werewolf; think about how famous we'll be!" the second guy shouts while shaking Marcus's shoulders.

"Still. Brave, you know I'm all for a good evil plan; but this plan is stretched. Proving a member of the Lycan family is a werewolf, would put us on their receiving end. And I don't know about you but I already was at the receiving end of a werewolf. Really don't want to experience that again." Marcus explains. "Sorry, Brave. If you want to continue with this plan then do it without me."

"But, Marcus! Man! You're my best friend, come on! Besties for life, remember?" Brave pleads.

The trio hear a snap of branches as Harper keeps herself perched on the tree branch while Brave and Marcus hide. Her mom comes slowly walking into the clearing with a raven haired guy and a blond haired woman beside her.

"Thank you for walking with me. I hope this clearing, works." her mother says. "If not, then we can sure relocate someplace else."
