When I woke up again, it was dark. The whole room was black. I had a certain pressure on my right hand, and now the latches that had been holding me down were gone.

The monitors attatched to me beeped loudly. I groaned like the girl I am and I moved my left hand over to my right side searching for the source of the pressure.

I found a hand, soft. A head with long hair, curly.. I shuffled the hair a bit, confused, till a pair of blue eyes looked up at me. "hey little one." I said. I relaxed instantly, it was the little 6 year old. I nodded, and saw disappointment flash through her features.

"What happened to you?"

She must not know anything about me, she couldn't care for me, but I heard the distress in her voice.

It was then I saw the dark circles under her eyes, the red rim around her iris. The swollen cheeks. The bruises all over her arms, she must be in so much pain.

I ran my thumb under her eyes, I kissed her forehead lovingly, as if I'd known her my whole life, and she stiffened immediately.

Before I could answer her, we got interrupted by the creak of the doorway, and a figure walking towards us

Nurse Tina walked into the room and hugged The little girl from behind. Lifting him gently. "Rosalie, let her sleep.." her words lingering for a bit, but I didn't mind her... "No, I want to stay" she said almost threateningly.

Tina backed up, hands in the air, showing she came in peace. Rosalie sat back down and laid her head there on my bed again with her eyes closed.

I started hyperventilating. "She's very emotionally unstable. He's been with you all day!" Tina said. I looked at her with a firm look.

Rosalie looked up at me and I saw her smile.. I tried to smile back but I was scared it looked more like a grimace "Right, buzz me if you need anything..." Tina said. Rose laid his head back down and I was too lazy to move her onto my bed.
