Chapter Six.

- Sapphire's P.O.V. -

I just finished learning how to swim & hunt. I was currently hiding from my mom & dad in a bush since they wanted to clean me which I didn't want, so I ran away from them. I stepped out of the bush & snickered, I walked away from it & continued walking. Hoping I won't at least bump in to one of them. "Sapphire!" My mama's voice called out, I gasped then ran towards a tree, I climbed up & layed down on the branch, hiding from them. I seen Peaches & she looked up then saw me, "Shh," I whispered, she nodded & walked away from the tree, I grinned once my parents walked by the tree, "Hey lovebirds, " Ellie's voice teased, my dad chuckled & I grinned. "Have you guys seen Sapphire? She ran away from me, I was supposed to clean her up," She said, "Sorry Shira, I haven't." She said, I felt someone's trunk wrap around my waist & I looked down to see Manny, "Uncle," I whined, "I found her," he said, bringing me to them. "There you are Sapphire, thanks Manny," My Mama said, he put me down & I was bout to run off until Crash, Sid & Eddie blocked my way. My dad picked me up & I frowned then started wiggling so I can get away from them. "Daddy. Let me go," I whined, "Not going to happen Sapph," he says, "We'll see you after I clean Sapphire," My mom said, I growled & my parents chuckled, I rolled my eyes.

- Shira's P.O.V . -

"Sapphire, stay still I'm almost done," I said, Diego cuckled & I glared at him. After I finished cleaning Sapphire she took off saying she'll be at the clearing or beach. "Energectic one, huh?" Diego says, "She was more energectic than I was when I was a cub,"  I said, "We better go find her otherwise Cash & Eddie will end up getting in trouble with her," Diego said, "She'll be fine," I say, "Alright, let's go see what the others are doing," I say, we get up & walked out of the cave, "I'll race you," Diego says, "Bring it," I taunt, we started running & I was ahead of Diego, I was laughing along with Diego, we got to clearing, "I beat you," I said, proudly. "I let you win," he says, I laugh & nudge him, "What the?" Diego says, as he was tackled to the ground, I looked at him & it was Sapphire, "Sapphire!" I said, "See, I told you I could take him down," She says, jumping off of him. Crash & Eddie groaned, Diego got up & I tried to hold in my laughter. "Wel, I see that I taught you well," he says, looking at our sapphire eyed tanned coat daughter, she grins & makes her way under his paw. "Hah, Diego got tackled by his daughter," Crash says, Diego let's out a snarl & Crash runs to Ellie, Sapphire laughed & sat down by Eddie. "That was fun," She says Diego & I chuckled & shared a look.
