never will I forget

At the time Andrew is 8 years old and Kay 7 years old.
Andrew's mom and kay's were talking up a storm, at the moment Kay was playing in the sand and Andrew hiding behind his mom. "hey kay you should say hello to Andrew" kay's mom said looking over at him, "Okay!" Kay said cheerfully. Kay walked over to Andrew
"Hello, my name's Kay!" "Oh- uh hello.. I'm Andrew" he replied "follow me I wanna show you something" Kay said grabbing Andrews hand "aha!- I don't have a choice do I.." "Nope!" Kay leads Andrew to a little shed in the back of the house. "See!" Kay said pointing to a kazoo and a fake microphone, "why am i exactly looking at this?" Andrew said with a confused look on his face "i wanna play these with you!" "Um.. Why me though?" Andrew said still confused "well i don't necessarily have any other friends so.." Kay replied with a nervous chuckle "um, If there's no one else.. Okay! I'll play them with you" Andrew said with a cheerful smile "that's grate! We need to practice though" Kay said "alright, will do" Andrew replied.
From the other side of the house Andrew's mom yelled "hey what are you kiddos doing back there?" "Hm? Oh nothing, no need to worry!" Kay replied
"Okay, you two don't get hurt" Andrew chimed in "we won't mom!" Andrew and Kay looked at each other and started laughing.

                  -A few days later- 
Andrew and Kay gathered up everyone at the house aka Andrew's and kay's mom and Daniel Andrew's cousin "ugh, why do we have to do this" Daniel complained "because your cousin and Kay wanna show us something" kay's mom replied "fine, whatever" Daniel said rolling his eyes. "So what did y'all wanna show us boys?" Andrew's mom said "well we found a kazoo and mic, so we wanna play for y'all!" Kay's mom replied
"That's really cool, so what do y'all wanna play us?" Kay's mom asked them "we're actually ganna play something that we've been practicing" Andrew said with a nervous laugh
"Then go ahead" Andrew's mom said with a cheerful look on her face.
Kay grabs the fake microphone, and starts to sing the song they made up. While at the same time Andrew picks up the Kazoo and plays it.
"Oh my-" kay's mom said quietly to her self. "oh be quite" Andrew's mom replied to kay's "pfft!- oh my god that was terrible you cant even play that thing Andrew!" Daniel said laughing
"Daniel, don't be rude!" Kay's mom yelled. Andrew just stood there not saying anything "hey, you cant just insult Andrew without insulting me also! We both suck at it" Kay said to Daniel "uh.. You do know you just insulted both of us" Anrew replied laughing
"Oh yeah oops" Kay added with a nervous chuckle
"Okay goofballs its ganna ran soon lets get y'all inside, i'll have a word with Daniel" andrew's mom said and then glared at Daniel.
"Alright mom, lets go Kay" andrew said to Kay "Okay!" Kay replied grabbing His hand and leading him inside

                -Time skip 8  years to
                     teenage years-

At the time Andrew is 17 and Kay is 16. They have been friends all the way through, they tell each other every thing. The only think they haven't told each other is that they both have a crush on each other.
bayshore hill high school is there school and at the time Andrew is leaning against his locker holding a paper "a party hu" Andrew looks over and sees kay running over to him "what thu?!-"
Kay gets over to him and grabs his hands all excited "are you going to the party!" "Oh uh.. I don't know" Andrew replied looking away and kinda blushing "so are you?" Kay Asked
"I uh-.." Andrew struggled at replying
"Well i'm going, so if you want to you can go with me!" Kay said smiling
"Y-yeah I'll go!" Andrew replied in a flustered manner. "Heh, that's great Well i'll see ya in class" Kay said starting to walk away.
Andrew waived bye and waled away to his class.
Some time later at the end of their class they meet up, and are talking to their friend Emery about the party. By the why Emery is the one that set up the party, andrew and kay are talking to them about the party. "so about the party it's going to be at your house right?" Andrew asked "yup" Emery replied. Kay was confused at the matter "how are you even going to pull this off? your parents would give you so much shit if you arranged a party at your house, or if you went to a party at all. let alone setting up your own"
"I know, I know, but they never going to find out they're going out of town" Emery replied to Kay. "that's actually pretty damn smart, if i do say so my self." Andrew added.
Kay lit up "okay then it's settled, there's going to be a big party at your house and me and Andrew are coming!"
"Yup, Cant wait! Well I'll see y'all two later" Emery replied walking away. "Alright see ya" kay said waving bye. Once Emery left, Andrew and Kay started talking about a show they were going to be doing at a public Talent performance. Andrew chimed in "So about the Talent performance thing?"
"Hm, Yeah what about it?" Kay replied.
"we're going to be doing it together right..?" Andrew said kind of looking away.  "Of course I wouldn't want to do it without you!" Kay added. "Okay great to hear" Andrew replied with a sweet smile.
A couple days later the party was in session, and everybody from their school and more were there. Kay finally arrived while Andrew was already there talking to Emery, Kay came in and started walking around a little to try and find Andrew and Emery.
Eventually Kay found Emery but only them, Emery was already wobbling and stumbling around because they had already drank to much "h-hey! Kay.. S-so yo-you finally sh-show-e-ed u-up yaaaay!" Emery was barely understandable, but Kay could make it out "of course you're already drunk" Kay chuckled. "M-me *hic* dru-nk.. noooo~" Emery denied but then wobbled over and almost fell straight on their face "okay.. May- *hic* Maybe I'm a-a little d-drunk, but you should see *hic* Andrew hes a mess"
"Oh god how much did Andrew drink" Kay asked "A-andrew drank? I was *hic* with him the whole time, a-and all we did was drink..?" Emery didn't really know what they were saying at this point.
"You know what I'm just going to leave you alone for a little bit, Ima look for Andrew" Kay walked away into the crowd "okay! W-who's Andrew?.." Emery said mumbling to themself.
Maybe 30 minutes later in to the party kay had a couple drinks, He was a little drunk but still couldn't manage to find Andrew. Emery was already out cold, know one was really surprised though.
Kay went upstairs and just started to go into rooms. The third room he went in to, to his surprise he saw Andrew sitting down on the bed. "A-andrew? *hic* there you are.. I've been looking for you everywhere!" Kay said with a slur "o-oh yeah I've just been hanging out in here.." Andrew replied looking over at Kay "wait a minute are you drunk?" Andrew asked "Aww *hic* how could you tell" Kay reply.
"It's pretty damn obvious, you have a slur and you're wobbling around" Andrew added. Kay walked over to Andrew, and sat next to him. He look over at Andrew's face, and saw that his eyes were kinda puffy and red. kay supposed that Andrew was crying "hey Andrew are you okay?" Kay Asked with a concerned look on his face
"Hm.. Yeah i'm fine, why do you ask?"
Andrew replied. Yes kay was a little drunk but he had enough common sense to tell that something was wrong.
Kay grabbed Andrew's hand and asked
"Were you crying?.." (cheesy I know, but its cute to me)    "I- uh.. it doesn't matter" Andrew replied but his voice was shaky. "Why were you crying..?" Kay asked again "don't worry about it seriously" Andrew said with a nervous chuckle. "Well I wanna know, and I'm not going to stop asking till you tell me."
Kay demanded "i- I cant tell you.." Andrew added "why? Why cant you" Kay asked "i- uh.." Andrew struggled at replying "just tell me already!" Kay said kinda pushing him on, Andrew jumped in and replied "You're the Reason okay!.." Kay was surprised but confused to Andrews answer "w-what do you mean i'm the reason.."  "I was crying because of you! Happy.." Andrew replied to Kay question but it didn't come out right "i-.. w-wu.. oh- i'm sorry.. I don't-... I'm just ganna step out side real fast.." Kay said while he started to walk away into a run. "I- kay wait!" Andrew replied while trying to catch up to him.
Sooner or later kay disappear from Andrew's site "I didn't.. mean to put it like that.." Andrew looked around the house, but it seemed like Kay walked home. Andrew decided to stay the night at Emery's, and just go home in the morning.
Once it started to turn morning
everyone began to wake up, because Emery drank so much the following night they had a really bad hangover.
"Ugh.. I have a terrible headache.." Emery complained "that's what you get for drinking that much" Andrew Added.
Emery looked around to see if they could find Kay, but didn't seem to find  him. "Hey, where's kay?" Andrew  Paused for a second and looked down.
"Oh yeah.. he left last night"
"Uh, why?" Emery asked. "I said something but it didn't come out right" Andrlew replied. "Well you should go home And get some more rest because tomorrow is the concert day" Emery added. Andrew looked back up at Emery and with a kinda upset face he said "Oh.. about that-" Emery cut him off
"Hay I don't want any excuses go home and rest, because I know you didn't get much sleep"
