The week was finally almost over, leaving Willow, Clara, George, Fred, and Lee in the library, frantically trying to finish their homework before Monday. Willow and Clara were much more on task than the boys, them being more interested in the pranks they could pull. Willow was surrounded by books for her 16 inch essay Snape had assigned in her previous class. Annoying her to no end, especially when she was not good at potions. The quiet chatter and the smell of old parchment and books wafted around the large room, creating an old timey feel.
"Clara, how do you do this," Willow groaned, banging her head on the table, causing a disruption in the library's peaceful ambiance. "I understand none of this." Clara laughed at her friend, patting her head as she continued to write her essay.
"I don't know, must be a Slytherin thing or something." She answered.
"Doesn't matter," Fred said.
"We have an important question." George Continued.
"Are you going to join the tournament?" Fred asked.
Willow snapped her head up staring into the boys' eyes. "No, and I'm glad that you two can't." She said. "I don't want either of you getting hurt, I already have to worry about Cedric, you two will just add to my stress." She finished.
Fred scoffed, "We're actually thinking of entering."
"What?" Clara had stopped writing her essay and stared at the boys. "How would that work? You wouldn't be of age yet."
"Easy, we just need to make an aging potion, which you girls will help us make, and boom. We can enter our names." George replied.
"I'm not sure that'll work." Clara said, "I mean this is Dumbledore we're talking about."
Willow snapped her brown eyes towards George and looked straight into them. "Listen to me George Weasley, you will not do anything as stupid as to try and enter yourself into that tournament. Not only could you get in trouble, on the slim chance it works you could get very seriously hurt." George just stared right back at her. His brown eyes unwavering from Willow's.
"Willow, stop acting like my mother. Why are you being so annoying?" George said. "This could be the chance of a lifetime and it's like you don't even care about us!" The last sentence stung Willow, she did care about the boys. It was the whole reason she had continued the argument. Willow stood up and slammed the book she had open and shoved it into her bag.
"I'll have you know George Weasley that I do care, and maybe if you weren't such a dickhead you wouldn't hurt your friends just because you want to show off." With that, Willow stormed out of the library, Clara running after her.
"Great, nice going George," Lee said, shaking his head.
Outside of the Library Willow sunk down to the floor and sighed. Clara sat down next to her and pulled her into a hug, rubbing her back.
"I shouldn't have called him that." Willow said sadly.
"Don't worry Willow, he was just over his head and hurt your feelings." Clara soothed.
"I know," Willow mumbled, "I still don't want to talk to him for a while though."
"I know." Clara said. "We can hang with Diggory for a while." Willow smiled at her friend and gave her a hug.
"Thanks Clara. I'm glad you're my friend."
