This first chapter is from my one shot book, so if you have already read it Im sorry. How ever I am working on the next chapter now.

I was walking around the forest near my house enjoying the scenery. I looked around ready to head back home when I noticed I had gotten lost.
"Mom and dad are going to kill me." I said under my breath looking around trying to find my way back home. I remembered my parents telling me that if I got lost that there was a house not too far from ours that had people who would help me. I started to head to the direction I knew the forest would end soon. The forest started to get really thick in the area, and the bushes started to snag on my clothes. I was almost out when I tripped over a root. I fell on my knees hard.
"Ouch." I got off my knees and sat down. I had scraped both of my knees and ripped the pants I was wearing.
"Mom is going to kill me again." I said getting up.
I made it out of the woods, I looked down and saw my clothes were a mess and I had little cuts all over me.
I looked up and saw a house on a hill.
'Maybe that's it' I thought making my way up to the house
I could now see the entire house, and outside was a man with blond hair and gold eyes. A woman with black hair, and almost gray eyes. Also a girl who looked around my age who looked just like the woman.
I suddenly felt nervous, and hid behind a tree. However I stepped on a twig and it made a loud snap noise.
'Stupid'I thought.
I looked around the tree, and noticed the family looking in my direction. I saw the man get up and head in my direction.
"Is anyone over there?" I heard him call out.
I debated whether or not I should say anything, but I remembered my parents saying they would help me. I poked my head out from behind the tree. I looked at the man and he seemed to be shocked but only for a moment. He gave me a soft smile, and motioned for me to come over. I cautiously made my way over to him, my eyes darting around to make sure no one attacked me.
I watched as the woman walked over and stood by the man.
"Look at you, you're a mess." She said as I stood in front of her, "You're the L/N's daughter right?"
I nodded, while looking at the girl. She looked back at me with a curious expression.
"I got lost, and my parents said a family not too far from my house would help me."I said looking at the ground, "I didn't mean to intrude."
"No it's okay let's get you cleaned up okay?" The woman said sitting up.
I nodded following behind the couple.
"You can sit right there." The woman said pointing at a chair.
I nodded, and sat down. The girl sat in a chair near me still looking at me.
"Mikasa could you help me?" The woman said.
The girl named Mikasa nodded.
"Is it okay if I clean the scratches?" "I can do it, I just need the stuff." I said shyly.
The woman smiled and handed me some things to clean my scratches.
I usually did this. I was a very active kid and usually came home with scraps and bruises, and I never wanted to bother my parents. I had finished cleaning my knees when the Mikasa spoke.
"What were you doing in the woods?"
"I was exploring." I said cheerfully. I had never talked to another person my age before.
"Really?" She asked.
I nodded, and finished cleaning up.
Mikasa's mother came over and checked over me, "You did a good job." She said smiling.
I smiled back at her, and faced Mikasa again.
"Where do you live?" Mikasa asked
"Right in that direction." I said pointing to the west.
"Do you have a name?"
"Oh ya, Im Y/N." I said, "I would shake your hand but they are dirty..I know." I stood up and bowed in Mikasa's direction.
Mikasa seemed shocked but let out a small laugh. I smiled sitting back down.
"What's your favorite thing to do?" I asked.
"I like to help my mom and dad around the house." She said quietly.
"I do too but I go into the woods any chance I get." I beamed.
"Isn't it dangerous?"
"Sometimes, but it's really beautiful there, I can spend hours listening to all the sounds."
"What do you do if you're not in the forest?"
"I sit on the grass and look at the sky." I said, "Would you like to do that?"
Mikasa looked at her mother, "Can I?"
"Of course there's no harm." Her mother said, smiling.
We smiled at each other and walked out the door. I found a nice spot not too far from Mikasa's house and sat down. Mikasa stood by me, seeming unsure on what to do. I motioned her to sit by me. She did and then I layed down and she copied me. I pointed at a cloud that kind of looked like a spider, "Mikasa look, that cloud looks like a spider."
She looked at the cloud I was pointing at, "No it doesn't it looks like a dog."
"What, no way it looks like a spider."
"No a dog." She said, poking my side.
"Nope, it's a spider."
I heard a few laughs from behind us. I looked around, and saw my parents taking Mikasa's.
"Uh oh."
"What?" Mikasa asked.
"Those are my parents."
"Isn't that good?"
"It would be if I didn't look like this." I said pointing at my shirt, and pants.
Mikasa laughed, "You are messy."
"Y/N Lets go home!" I heard my mom call out.
"But I want to stay, and play with Mikasa more!" I said
"You can come over tomorrow if you would like." Mikasa's father said.
"Could I?" I asked Mikasa behind me.
My mother sighed but had a smile on her face, "I suppose if it's okay."
I beamed, and looked at Mikasa who also was smiling.
We said goodbyes, and I followed my parents back home.
