We were finally graduating. After years of hard work we finally were graduating. I ran down the field dust flying behind me. I found the trio and ran towards them jumping on the back of the red scarfed girl.
"Hello you three" I beamed, my feet touching the ground.
"You're in a good mood today" Armin smiled.
"Duh we are graduating!"
Eren beamed, "I know right, it's super exciting!"
I hopped off Mikasa's back and gave her a smile before facing back to the other two.
"Do you think we will be getting a special meal?"
"I hope so!" Eren exclaimed, "It would be only fair"
"Well we did joining willingly"
Armin chuckled, "I think Eren just wants good food"
"Ya thats it" Eren chuckled rubbing the back of his neck.
"I'm kinda with Eren though, fresh food does sound good" I grinned.
"When is the graduation ceremony anyway?" Eren asked.
"When the sun sets, so soon" Armin answered immediately, looking at the direction the sun sat.
The others' eyes focused on the sun as well, but mine landed on Mikasa. Her hair reflected light making it look shiny. Her eyes reflected the light and gleamed. If only she was mine, maybe I could look at her for hours without being questioned.
I looked away quickly seeing her head turn.
"Do you think you'll get ranked high?" Mikasa asked, looking at me.
I laughed, "No, I don't think I will"
Mikasa's expression saddedned slightly, "How come, you work really hard."
"Well you see, hard work doesn't really matter, especially when there is someone with talent like you Mika." I smiled
Mikasa's cheeks turned a light pink, "I think you'll be ranked high" She said, pulling her scarf up to her nose.
"Wow that means a lot coming from the Mikasa Ackerman" I smirked trying to hide the fact that butterflies erupted in my stomach.
She buried her face farther into the scarf making me laugh lightly. I pulled it down and was met with a bright pink Mikasa.
"Did I embarrass you?" I smirked.
MIkasa gave me a quick glare before melting into a smile.
My heart beat out of my chest as I let go of her scarf and rubbed the back of my neck. "S-should we go to the ceremony?"
"Ya the sun will be setting soon" Armin said with a sly smile. I gave him a fast glare before we made our way to the ceremony field.
"You are so annoying" I hissed into Armins ear as we walked.
