The birds woke me up from my sleep. It has been raining from two days. There is cold all around the room. I took the cardigan from the old wicker chair and wore it on top of my tee shirt. Father Joseph called me last night to tell me to visit him at church today. I am scared. I don't know what is going to happen. Are they going to let me go? Will they put me in foster care? What will then happen to me? I gazed at the painting of Jesus on the wall. Those who don't have a home, he is the home. I closed my eyes and prayed . Please help me! You are all I have.

There was a knock on the door. Sister Agnes came into the room. Rain, it is time for breakfast. Come on. I mumbled an yes and quickly went to freshen up. After cleaning up, I went to the dining room where sister Agnes was waiting for me. We said grace and slowly ate the breakfast. Rosa, poured hot tea into the glasses. Outside the rain danced in the puddles.

The Church was only five minutes from the orphanage. Sister Agnes grabbed two umbrellas and we slowly navigated through the rain . We went into Father's room at the back of the church and knocked on the door. Thomas, the apprentice, let us in . There was a man infront of Father Joseph. He was quite tall even when he was sitting and had black hair. As if feeling my gaze on him ,suddenly he turned and  looked at me. I gasped.
