"Guys, I guess we're stuck here," Jennie said, looking out though the window. "There is a snowstorm in going."

It was extremely dark outside, almost pitch black. The wind was so cold and heavy that it made me shiver. The wind smelled like strawberries soaked in sugar. Through the classroom window, I could see the snow falling fiercely to the ground, where it lay silently.

We were stuck in school. Great! All because of our stupid prank on Mr Brown. He punished us by making us clean the classrooms before we left. We wanted to leave as soon as possible, so we were preoccupied with our task and didn't notice what was going on outside.

I forgot to tell you who this we was, me and my gang. We are a group of five people. Ian is the bad boy born with a silver spoon in his mouth. There wasn't a single person in our school who hadn't heard of Jennie, our school's classy and well-known cheerleader. David and Sarah are a romantic couple, or should I say true lovers. Judy, our go-to person for. And there wasn't much to say about me; I was just an ordinary girl. Despite our disparate backgrounds, we five quickly became friends.

"I believe we can persuade the security guards for help," Judy speculated.

"Perfect idea, Judy," I replied.

We made our way to the first-floor guardroom. Our school was well-known. Except for me, the majority of the kids here were from wealthy families. I was an orphan studying here on scholarship.

When we arrived at the guardroom, we noticed a large lock on the door. "It's shut!" Jenny yelled.

"I believe they left early due to the snowstorm," Sarah responded.

"We'll have to stay here now. So let's have some fun. What about a game of hide and seek?" Ian inquired, his voice filled with excitement. Sure, we all said the same thing. Then, by my luck, I was the one who was supposed to find them. While they were running around looking for hiding places, I began counting.

"8...9...10, I'm coming!" I exclaimed.

I slid open the door and peered out. There was no other lighting in the corridor besides the dim night lights. I stepped out, shut the door, and began walking towards other classrooms. It appeared to be a horror scene from the conjuring movie.

I was about to turn the knob on the adjacent classroom when I heard someone giggling and running. I smirked and dashed towards the source.

I huffed and puffed my way to the front of the library. I quietly opened the door and walked in. To be honest, I was scared because of the silent and dark environment that greeted me. I began to make my way towards the bookshelves. Someone's movement behind the last shelf caught my attention.

"Got you," I screamed, and Jennie gasped. Her face turned pale, and her eyes seemed to bulge out at any moment.

"You scared me, Kiara," she screamed angrily. I was a giddy mess. She appeared terrified.

We began looking for others after I had calmed her down. I was drawn to the biology lab. I quietly peeked inside. In the moonlight, I noticed a leg moving beneath the examination table, as if it was trying to hide. I suppressed my laughter and approached it from the other side. As a result, I was now standing behind the owner of the leg. I tapped on his shoulder and whispered after bending down. "Are you expecting me?"

Ian screamed at the top of his lungs and slammed his head against the table.

"Ian, relax, this is me, Kiara," I said between laughs.

"You're such a bitch, Kiara, you scared the shit out of me," he snarled. I attempted to re-establish my seriousness.

"Come on, Ian. David, Sarah, and Judy are still left."

We start looking for them. Someone made a noise in a nearby classroom, and I heard it.

"Guys, I think one of them is hiding there; I'll go check," I said as I began walking without waiting for an answer. I walked into the classroom. I heard noises coming from the cupboard as I looked around. I opened the cupboard and saw...
