She is almost here. Checklist time. Fancy clothes, check. Fancy picnic, check. Food cooking, check. I know I'm forgetting something! Just keep going through the checklist I say to myself. Romantic music...uh...DANGET!!! How could I forget the romantic music? At least I didn't forget the flowers. As I search for the CD, the doorbell rings. My dog, Baxter, starts going crazy. I guess that's her.

"Hey," she says. She is wearing a sparking, tight dress which black converse. I have only seen her in a dress once before, and that was the last time I saw her. I still can't remember that time, only parts. "Hello, anyone in there?" She's waving her hand in front of my face. I must have zoned out. That happens a lot.

"Hi, come on in," I say shakily. Why am I so nervous? As she sits, I go to get the drinks, and look for the romantically music. Maybe I should just pull some upon YouTube. I decide to go with that idea. Right when the food comes out, the music turns to loud rock. Probably should have read the title of the song. After that goes wrong, everything goes wrong. Baxter starts to eat the food, the sprinklers go off, and worst of all, the music isn't even good rock.

We run inside laughing and screaming. I go to grab some towels from my room. When I return, she is trying to get the knots out of her hair with her hands. She looks so perfect.

"Sorry about that."
"It's fine, this was actually kinda fun."

Her phone rings. She steps out of the room to answer it. Did she just say that was fun?
