After Karina had gotten out of the shower she was still thinking about the everything that had happened, more specifically the shadow man that tried to grab her earlier. After She got into bed her parents came into her room to tell her goodnight before Karina went to sleep.
"Goodnight honey" Yuuki told her gently as she tucked Karina into bed.
"Goodnight mom goodnight d-" Karina's sentence was interrupted by a loud bang on her window.
The shadow man was trying to get into her window but this time the man wasn't shadowy but instead it was a tall man with silver hair and had a weird mark on his neck. As the man saw that Karina's parents were in the room he jumped down the ladder and ran away back into the woods. Karina's father went after the man as her mother stayed in the room with her to protect her.
"Mom I'm scared" Karina said to her mother Yuuki.
"It's ok honey we're safe" Her mother said reassuringly.
Karina slowly dozed off to sleep in her mother's arms. The next morning her mother was not in her room anymore so she went to go downstairs to find her. Near the stairs she heard her parents talking about what they should do and how dangerous this was to their family. As Karina went downstairs when her parents saw her their expressions and tone of voice changed up really quickly.
"What do you want for breakfast honey?" Karina's mother asked with a warm smile.
Karina thought to herself for a second and decided her next move.
"I've seen the man that was at the window before." Karina said.
Her parents' smiles dropped.
